Albin Johnsén feat. Pa – “Upp i luften”

Hey
Yes
Nu kör vi
Bam
Here we gooo

Dom kan inte
Trycka ner oss, tysta ner oss
Alla tvivel, vi skickar ner dom
Gått för långt för att vända om
Kondition för ett maraton

Inget kvar att förlora (hey)
Inga drömmar för stora (nej)
Demonerna har försonats (hey)
Så hämta hit allihopa, yeah

Inga tysta minuter
Vill se när du skrattar och njuter
Ingen kan hålla oss under
Faller vi ner går vi upp sen

Hjärtat bankar i tusen
Släpper all ångest i huvudet
Och dansar från mörker till ljuset
Jag kommer vara med dig till slutet

Alla till höger (hey)
Alla till vänster (hey)
Händerna upp i luften nu
Upp i luften nu
Upp i luftеn

Vi kan gå högre (hey)
Finns inga gränser (hеy)
Händerna upp i luften nu
Upp i luften nu
Upp i luften

Från Haparanda ner till Rio
Rio, Rio
Vi ska gå loss ikväll
Let’s go go go go go

Alla till höger (hey)
Alla till vänster (hey)
Händerna upp i luften nu
Upp i luften nu
Upp i luften

Vi har vart överallt
Gått genom elden
Känt turbulens
Klättrat över stängsel
Kvar ryggen rak för allting går över
Visa dom hur ditt hjärta blöder

Släpper våra sorger
Fri från alla normer
Fyller upp dansgolvet
Vi mot alla oddsen, yeah

Inga tysta minuter
Vill se när du skrattar och njuter
Ingen kan hålla oss under
Faller vi ner går vi upp sen

Hjärtat bankar i tusen
Släpper all ångest i huvudet
Och dansar från mörker till ljuset
Jag kommer vara med dig till slutet

Maja Ivarsson – “Kamikaze Life”

Haters gonna hate me
No heaven’s gonna wait me out
Like I’m living in a fantasy life

No savior’s gonna save me
Cause I’ve been around the block and I
Looked the devil right in the eye

Yeah yeah hey hey
That’s right, come on!

I can fly across every border
My wings can take me anywhere
It’s a kamikaze life

Who-o-o-o-o-o-oah

All the states of America, yeah
Been around the world but now I’m back
It’s a kamikaze life

Who-o-o-o-o-o-oah
Who-o-o-o-o-o-oah
Who-o-o-o-o-oah
Who-o-o-o-o-oah

Kamikaze life

No regrets and no returns
I’m going down in flames, I’ll burn
No matter how hard it hurts

Yeah yeah hey hey!
Are you ready? Let’s go!

I can fly across every border
My wings can take me anywhere
It’s a kamikaze life

Who-o-o-o-o-o-oah

All the states of America, yeah
Been around the world but now I’m back
It’s a kamikaze life

Who-o-o-o-o-o-oah
Who-o-o-o-o-o-oah
Who-o-o-o-o-oah
Who-o-o-o-o-oah

It’s a kamikaze…

Life ain’t easy
Please forgive me

I can fly across every border
My wings can take me anywhere
It’s a kamikaze life

Who-o-o-o-o-o-oah

All the states of America, yeah
Been around the world but now I’m back
It’s a kamikaze life

Who-o-o-o-o-o-oah

John Lundvik – “Voice of the Silent”

Take a breath and breathe
If you close your eyes you’ll see
That every little beat of your heart
Is telling you the story of your scars
Keep holding on

Everyone should know that they could be someone
O-oh, everyone should know that they could be someone

Every little beat of your heart
Is telling you the story of your scars
Keep holding on
To love

Hear the voice of the silent
Hear the sound that can be heard
Through the noise of the violent
In a lonely world

With the force of a giant
Making colors out of grey
And I know we’ll be okay
Hear the voice of the silent

Dreams of gold unfold
There are way too many stories still untold

Every little beat of your heart
Is telling you the story of your scars
Keep holding on

Everyone should know that they could be someone
O-oh, everyone should know that they could be someone

Hear the voice of the silent
Hear the sound that can be heard
Through the noise of the violent
In a lonely world

With the force of a giant
Making colors out of grey
Cause I know we’ll be okay
Hear the voice of the silent

(Hear the voice, hear the voice of the silent)
(Hear the voice, hear the voice of the silent)
Silent

Every little beat of your heart
Is telling you the story of your scars
Hear the voice
(Hear the voice)
Hear the voice
(Hear the voice)
Hear the voice
Of the silent

Eurovision 2025: The Semi-Final Allocation Draw Results!

Basel with a very nice event hosted a few minutes ago the draw for the semi-finals of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest.

The analyzes of the fans and not only, have been on fire for a few minutes now. Since the theories based on the pre-history of the countries in the competition, it is a first insight into how passable the qualification to the final is or not. In other words, it’s time to make our predictions, about who will go through to the final and who are the favorites to say goodbye to Basel early…

The presenters and the handover ceremony

Leading today’s allocation draw were Jennifer Bosshard and Jan van Ditzhuijzen, who guided us through this pivotal Eurovision tradition.

In addition to determining which countries will perform in each semi-final, today’s ceremony marked the official handover of the Eurovision insignia from last year’s host city, Malmö, to Basel. Attending the event were Carina Nilsson, the President of Malmö City Council, and Conradin Cramer, Basel’s City Council President.

Draw Procedure

Big 5 and Switzerland

With the big winner of last year’s competition, Switzerland, directly in the final, along with the Big 5 (UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain), the first part of the draw determined the semi-final that the direct finalists would vote for.

Will vote in the 1st Semi-Final:

  • Switzerland
  • Italy
  • Spain

Will vote in the 2nd Semi-Final:

  • Germany
  • France
  • United Kingdom

In the semi-final that the six aforementioned countries were drawn to broadcast and vote for, the video from their dress rehearsal will also be shown. This was done at Eurovision 2016 for the first time, for reasons of equal exposure of the countries directly in the final and the countries that qualify from the semi-finals. Essentially, viewers see each entry twice during the shows.

Semi-Final Allocation Draw

The allocation draw for the two semi-finals had two parts. In the first part the 31 countries participating in the semi-finals were drawn in which of the two they will compete in. Fifteen countries will compete in the first semi-final and sixteen in the second semi-final.

In the second part, each country learned whether it will appear in the first or second half of the semi-final in which it will compete. The exact order of appearance will be determined by the EBU and the show’s producers at a later date.

1st Semi-final (May 13):

1st Half

  • Sweden
  • Ukraine
  • Slovenia
  • Iceland
  • Estonia
  • Poland
  • Portugal

2nd Half

  • Netherlands

Basel will host the 69th Eurovision Song Contest from 13 to 17 May at the St. Jakobshalle. The motto of this year’s event, as chosen by the organisers, is “United by Music“, retaining the motto first chosen for the contest in Liverpool in 2023.

Finland: Running order and change in the voting for UMK!

The voting for the Finnish national final for Eurovision, UMK will change this season! This year the audience can start voting for their favorite artists right after the first performance begins. The aim is to allow even more music fans to influence the selection of the UMK winner and Finland’s next Eurovision representative.

We remind you that according to the UMK rules, the winner will be decided by a combined audience vote (75% weight) and an international jury of professionals (25% weight). The UMK final will take place on February 8 at Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland.

UMK executive producer, Anssi Autio says about the changes in the voting:

It’s the Finnish voters, above all, who decide the winner and Finland’s next Eurovision representative. By extending the voting time, we want to give voters more time to support their favorite, and we also hope to achieve the largest vote count in UMK history this year.

The association Mieli Ry will get the proceeds of the UMK voting. Miely Ry works on mental health, supporting young people by chat, wherever they may be, without referrals or fees. The funding will be used to improve youth’s mental health in schools and leisure activities.

Running Order

The running order for the UMK will be as follows:

  1. costee
  2. NEEA RIVER
  3. Goldielocks
  4. VIIVI
  5. Nelli Matula
  6. Erika Vikman

Eurovision 2025 Semi-Final Allocation Draw Live from Basel!

At 12:30 PM CET, the much-anticipated Semi-Final Allocation Draw for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest will take place live from Basel, Switzerland.

In addition to determining which countries will perform in each semi-final, today’s ceremony marks the official handover of the Eurovision insignia from last year’s host city, Malmö, to Basel. Attending the event are Katrin Stjernfeldt Jammeh, the Mayor of Malmö, and Conradin Cramer, Basel’s City President.

Meet the Hosts

Leading today’s allocation draw are Jennifer Bosshard and Jan van Ditzhuijzen, who will guide us through this pivotal Eurovision tradition.

The Allocation Draw Process

Today’s draw will take place in two stages:

  1. Semi-Final Voting Assignment:
    • The six countries already pre-qualified for the grand final—Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom—will be assigned to vote in one of the two semi-finals on May 7 or May 9.
  2. Semi-Final Performance Allocation:
    • The 31 remaining countries will be assigned to one of the two semi-finals and placed into either the first or second half of the show. The exact running order will be determined later by the production team to enhance the overall flow and balance of the performances.

Why Pots Matter

The 31 countries have been distributed across five pots, based on historical voting patterns calculated by Eurovision’s official voting partner, Digame. This allocation reduces the likelihood of neighboring countries favoring one another, creating fairer and more suspenseful semi-final outcomes.

United Kingdom: The singer and the song for Eurovision 2025 to be revealed in March!

The United Kingdom‘s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, in Basel, Switzerland, will be announced in March.

The UK’s national broadcaster, BBC, issued an official announcement regarding the selection of the country’s participation in the upcoming Eurovision 2025. The process of selecting the artist and song that will represent the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is an international selection process in collaboration with the BBC and BBC Studios.

Specifically, the BBC is working with a leading figure in the British music industry. Together, they are working with British record labels, publishers, songwriters, BBC Music and BBC Introducing to choose the artist and song.

The artist and song will be published in March, ahead of the European Broadcasting Union deadline.

Last year, the United Kingdom was represented at Eurovision 2024 by the well-known artist Olly Alexander with the song “Dizzy.” However, he was limited to the 18th place of the scoreboard in the grand final with 46 points, while it is worth noting that once again the country received 0 points from the television audience.
