Moldova: Today the Etapa Națională 2024 Audition!
Today marks the initiation of the process to select Moldova’s representative for Eurovision 2024. The Eastern European country will once again employ a national final for the third consecutive year to choose the artist who will compete in Malmö. The journey begins today with the auditions of Etapa Națională 2024.
Format
Live auditions will commence on January 13 at 3 PM CET in the studios of the public television. The auditions will be broadcast live on the Moldova 2 channel and its website, as well as on www.eurovision.md.
The scoring will be exclusively provided by a jury. The composition of the jury will be revealed on the day of the audition and will consist of an odd number of judges (three or five), distinct from the national final jury.
Following this, Moldova 1 will host a special program on the live auditions and announce the finalists who will participate in the national final. According to the rules, the ten artists with the highest scores in the live auditions will compete in the national final.
The national final will then take place on February 17, where the ten artists will vie for the opportunity to represent Moldova in Eurovision 2024.
