The singer who became known through Norske Talenter, according to sources who spoke to TV 2, is set to make her comeback at Melodi Grand Prix 2025. In 2012, the singer competed in Melodi Grand Prix with “Somewhere Beautiful” and despite being the jury’s favorite, she finished in 2nd place in the Norwegian final for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Nora Foss Al-Jabri told TV2 that she knows nothing about Melodi Grand Prix, but the singer confirmed that she signed with Sony Music earlier this week and is looking forward to releasing new music in 2025.
Ten artists will compete for the coveted title and the ticket to Eurovision. They will be officially revealed during a grand press event on Thursday, January 16. Media invitations will be sent out early in the new year, adding to the anticipation of who will take the stage at the Oslo Spektrum.
For those eager to experience the live show, ticket sales begin on Friday, November 22, at 12:00. This is a unique opportunity to witness the excitement and glamour of Norway’s biggest music competition up close.
Last year’s MGP winners, Gåte, represented Norway in Malmö with their song “Ulveham”, finishing in last place.
