Serbia: First Semi-Final of Pesma za Evroviziju 25 Tonight!

With less than two weeks left until the final national selections for Eurovision 2025, Serbia is set to begin its journey in choosing its representative for Basel. In just a few hours, the first semi-final of Pesma za Evroviziju 25 will take place in Belgrade!


Format of Pesma za Evroviziju 25

Serbia’s national selection consists of three shows:
Two semi-finals – February 25 & 26
Grand Final – February 28

Each semi-final features 15 artists, but only 8 will advance to the final. This means that on February 28, a total of 16 artists will compete for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2025!

The qualifiers will be determined by a 50/50 voting system, with the Serbian public and a jury panel sharing equal power in deciding the finalists.

Here are the 15 acts competing in tonight’s first semi-final of Pesma za Evroviziju 25:

Serbia at Eurovision

As we gear up for tonight’s show, let’s take a look back at Serbia’s 2024 Eurovision entry. Last year, Teya Dora represented the country with “Ramonda”, finishing 17th with 54 points.

Serbia will change hosts for Pesma za Evroviziju 25

Serbian broadcaster RTS announced there will be changes in the hosts for the national final Pesma za Evroviziju 25 (PZE 25).

Slaven Došlo will no longer be one of the hosts for the Serbian national final for Eurovision.

Consequently, Stefan Popović will report from the green room with the assistance of a fresh face, actor Đorđe Živadinović Grgur, while journalists Dragana Kosjerina and Kristina Radenković will take over the main stage.

Slaven confirmed that he decided not to take part in the Serbian national final on Instagram:

In his post, Slaven Došlo stated that “With a heartfelt appreciation to the RTS Entertainment Program team for their invitation and sincere respect for their efforts in organizing this challenging event, he decided not to participate in Pesma za Evroviziju this year”.

Given the current social climate, Slaven “did not see a way to fulfill his role as a host with complete integrity, nor could he fully support himself or the event appropriately.” He finalized his message thanking the organizers.

Pesma za Evroviziju 2025

The Serbian national final will consist of two Semi-finals. The running order of the semifinals is as follows:

Semi-Final 1

  3. Vampiri – “Tebi treba neko kao ja” (You need someone like me)
  4. Nataša Kojić – “Up and Down”

  7. Filarri – “Meet and Greet”
  8. Kruz Roudi – “Sve i odmah” (Everything and immediately)
  9. Milan Nikolić feat. Caka – “Storia del amor” (Love story)
  10. Ana & The Changes – “Brinem” (I worry)
  11. Iskaz – “Trendseter” (Trendsetter)
  12. Harem Girls – “Aladin” (Aladdin)

  8. GIFTS & ROSES – “Do kraja vremena” (Until the end of time)
  9. Lensy – “Hvala ti” (Thank you)
  10. Sedlar– “Oči boje zemlje” (Eyes the colour of earth)
  11. Maja Nikolić – “Žali srce moje” (My heart grieves)
  12. Mimi Mercedez – “Turbo žurka” (Turbo party)

The first Semifinal will occur on February 25 and the second on February 26. The top 8 of each semifinal will advance to the final on February 28. The final result will be determined by the combined vote of a jury and televote.
