Junior Eurovision 2024: Italy’s representative has been announced!

Last night the second edition of The Voice Kids Italy ended with the big winner Simone Grande.

Presenter Antonella Clerici has announced that The Voice Kids winner Simone Grande will represent Italy in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

11-year-old Simone Grande from Rozzano, Milan, dreams of either becoming a singer or a footballer, made it to the blind auditions with Marco Mengoni’s L’essenziale. Clementino and Arisa had turned showing interest in Simone, however, Clementino blocked Arisa and brought him to his team.

In the semi-final, if there’s one contestant who left everyone speechless it was little Simone Grande, who wowed the jury with her rendition of Lara Fabian’sAdagio”.

In the final he performed All By Myself and showed not only with his voice, which is characterized by a large and impressive vocal range, but also with his interpretation, which makes him ready for the music world despite his young age.

Italy this year was represented by Melissa & Ranya with the song “Un Mondo Giusto”, finishing in 11th place with 81 points.

Junior Eurovision 2023: The Italian representatives have been revealed!

As Junior Eurovision 2023 draws near, more and more countries are announcing the artists who will represent them in Nice.

Ranya Moufidi and Melissa Agliottone have been selected as Italian representatives, according to a recent statement by Italy’s official broadcaster, Rai. They both are 14 years old and took part in the first Italian season of The Voice. They both advanced to the final round, which Melissa eventually won.

In the upcoming days, the song is anticipated to be released. Franco Fasano, a well-known singer and composer with great experience in the creation of songs for children and adolescents, has taken over the artistic supervision of the participation.

Last year, Chanel Dilecta represented Italy with the song “Bla Bla Bla”, finishing in 11th place with 95 points.
