“I don’t have anything to say about those reactions, they cannot affect me in any way. It is not realated to a particular event. It is a song about separation, which one can freely relate to.”
Then, she further replied to the dimensions the matter took and TRT’s demand towards EBU:
“The song is not political, for sure, and I don’t think that it is implied somewhere in the song. I never expected such fuss to be created around it. EBU will evaluate what is right and what is wrong, we are not the ones to make up for it.”
In the end, Klavdia responds to the negative comments she has received about her song:
“About the people who believe that the song is not suitable for Eurovision, the national final happened and the audience chose the song they wanted to represent them. I thank them and I;m twice as happy, since it occurred through the process of a national final”.
The developments around this matter are expected to be intense and EBU’s final verdict bears much interest.
