Italy: Listen to the Songs of Sanremo 2025 | Prima Serata Results

The Prima Serata of Sanremo 2025 has just concluded. The 29 Campioni of this year’s festival performed their songs live for the first time, hoping that by the end of the week, they will be the ones to win the Golden Lion and secure the chance to represent Italy at Eurovision 2025.

What We Saw on the First Night

The artistic director and host of the festival is Carlo Conti, a familiar face in this role, having previously hosted Sanremo from 2015 to 2017. Joining him tonight were Antonella Clerici, who co-hosted the festival in 2005 and was the main presenter in 2010, as well as Gerry Scotti.

Among the special guests at the Ariston Theatre tonight were Noa and Mira, Israel’s Eurovision 2009 representatives—Noa of Israeli origin and Mira of Palestinian origin. They performed John Lennon’s iconic “Imagine,” delivering a powerful anti-war message to the world. Before their performance, a related televised message from Pope Francis was also broadcast.

Additionally, from Piazza Colombo, there was a live performance by Raf who represented Italy in Eurovision 1987 and is now one of the most well-known names in the Italian music scene and the composer of the global hit “Self Control.”
