Israel: Withdrawal of Michael Ben David from this year’s contest?
Ynet, one of Israel’s leading news and general content sites, reports that Michael Ben David, Israel’s representative at Eurovision 2022, is considering withdrawing from the competition. According to Ynet, the Israeli representative is dissatisfied with the behavior and internal policy of the team, with which he is working in view of participating in the contest:
Michael comes wholeheartedly to the competition, but if he understands that there are decisions that deprive him of the right to represent Israel with dignity, he will not go.
KAN, the Israeli Broadcasting Company, has stated that the singer continues to work on his song and the official video clip.
We remind you that Michael Ben David won the final of the Israeli version of X Factor with the song I.M. In case he decides not to withdraw from the competition, the song will be revamped.
