North Macedonia: Are they returning to the contest in 2024?

After a year’s absence, North Macedonia looks ready to return to the contest in 2024. After the broadcast of the contest in 2023 (even though they did not participate) but also their participation in Junior Eurovision 2023, it seems that they will also participate in Eurovision 2024.

As it became known, the amount of 1,500,000 Denars has been allocated to the proposed MRT budget for Eurovision and Junior Eurovision 2024. In addition, in a special paragraph, the Eurovision Song Contest is stated, which they have add to the column with music festivals!

The same paragraph was present in the proposed budgets of 2020, 2021 and 2022, but was removed in the proposed budget of 2023. Summarizing these facts we can be led to the conclusion that North Macedonia is returning to the Eurovision 2024, after their short abstention for the year 2023. It remains to be seen if they will officially confirm their participation in the next few days!
