Croatia: Arena Zagreb is being reserved, regarding a potential Eurovision victory!

According to Croatian media’s recent reports, the Arena Zagreb no longer accepts reservations from April to May 2025, regarding a potential Eurovision win, as Croatia is once again the favourite of the betting odds to win.

The Croatian newspaper, “Slobodna Dalmacija”, states that they were told by the Arena officials to not receive any more bookings for April and early May 2025, with the Croatian representative being one of this year’s potential winners. HRT, the Croatian public broadcaster, states the following:

“High hopes are placed on the victory of Baby Lasagna at the Eurovision Song Contest. We asked the leaders of Arena Zagreb not to make any arrangements regarding events in the period from April to part of May.”

This is a usual tactic that broadcasters from the countries that are the favourites to win, follow in order to have the best venue possible. Switzerland, which is now second is the betting odds, is also currently in negotiations with different venues in the country.
