Lithuania: Eurovizija.LT 2025 Final to Be Held at Žalgiris Arena
Lithuanian broadcaster LRT has announced that the Grand Final of Eurovizija.LT, the national selection for the country’s Eurovision 2025 representative, will take place at the Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas.
This marks a significant development, as the final returns to Lithuania’s largest event venue. The Žalgiris Arena, which is also the biggest in the Baltic region, can host up to 20,000 spectators and spans nearly 40,000 square meters.
The selection process will begin in January, featuring four to five qualifying rounds, all of which will be held at the LRT Studios in Vilnius. In the Grand Final, the winner will be determined solely by public televoting.
The exact number of entries competing for the chance to represent Lithuania at Eurovision 2025 has not yet been confirmed, but the registration process is nearing its conclusion. Artists have until December 20 to withdraw their participation if they choose to do so.
Last year, Lithuania was represented by Silvester Belt with the song “Luktelk”, which finished 14th at Eurovision 2024, earning 90 points. The highest scores from the public came from the United Kingdom and Latvia, both awarding 8 points.
