Italy: The Results of the Terza Serata of Sanremo 2025

The remaining 14 artists in the Campioni category performed their songs for the second time tonight at Sanremo 2025. For the second consecutive evening, the voting power was in the hands of the television audience and representatives of radio stations.

The Show

Alongside Carlo Conti tonight were Miriam Leone, Elettra Lamborghini, and Katia Follesa. Special guests at the Ariston were Duran Duran, one of the most successful bands of the 1980s and a key part of the so-called “Second British Invasion” in the U.S.

In addition to the legendary Duran Duran, tonight’s show also featured guest appearances by Edoardo Bennato and the cast members of Mare Fuori 5.

At Piazza Colombo (via live connection), the audience saw Ermal Meta, one of the most beloved artists in the Italian music industry today and the winner of Sanremo 2018, alongside Fabrizio Moro. Their duet had secured fifth place at Eurovision 2018 in Lisbon with the iconic “Non mi avete fatto niente”.

The Songs

The 14 contestants from the main category who did not perform yesterday took the stage at the Teatro Ariston tonight to present their entries for the second time.

The Results

At the end of the night, the top five rankings were announced in random order, based on the votes from the public and a jury composed of radio producers. Both voting groups held equal weight (50%) in determining tonight’s outcome. The top-ranked contestants were:

• Francesco Gabbani

What did you think of the results?

Sanremo 2025 continues tomorrow, Friday, February 14, with the duet night, where contestants will perform a song of their choice alongside a guest of their selection. At the end of the evening, a special award will be given for the best cover performance. However, the scores from tomorrow’s event will not count toward the final result.
