France: Slimane will sing “Mon Amour” at Eurovision 2024!

The artist that will represent France in the 68th Eurovision Song Contest was unveiled a few moments ago by Alexandra Redde Amiel, the head of the French delegation, in a radio interview. This is Slimane, a well-known figure in the French music industry with millions of listeners. He is undoubtedly the most prominent artist that France has entered in the competition in recent years and, as the head of delegation has stated, his goal is to win.

After winning The Voice of France in 2016, Slimane’s career has flourished. He is 34 years old and of Algerian origin.  In addition to charting in multiple other countries, his four full-length albums all peaked at number one in France. He has served as a judge on both the Kid’s and Regular editions of The Voice of Belgium in recent years. “Mon Amour”, the song he will perform to represent France in Malmö, will be presented tonight on France 2. Though the first song to be revealed, he is the fourth performer to be announced for the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest!
