Baby Lasagna Eurovision 2024 - Croatia's 2nd Rehearsal

Baby Lasagna: “I condemn the actions of Israel’s government” | The artist’s post after his interview!

A few days ago, the representative of Croatia in this year’s contest, Baby Lasagna, gave an interview to Croatian media, after which, there was a wave of reactions, both from the fans of the contest, and some contestants.

In particular, he stated that the behaviour of some of his fellow contestants was somewhat excessive, given the circumstances, but also that the Israeli delegation was not as disturbing as some claim, at least towards himself.

These statements of his, started many kinds of comments against him by the fans, and also three artists from this year’s contest, stopped following him on social media.

A few hours ago, the artist decided to give an explanation through his personal account on Instagram, and put an end to the negative comments against him:

“I won’t beat around the bush and I feel like I have to respond because I owe that to ESC Community. I didn’t feel like I had to express this online. But now I see that there’s some confusion about it. So let me say it: I condemn the actions of Israel’s government. I bow my head to Palestine and it’s victims. I keep them in my prayers every night I go to sleep. Likewise, I will truly give my best to help those wounded by this horrific tragedy. Love, Marko”

This response from Baby Lasagna, has already received a lot of positive reactions, as there seems to have been a lot of controversy about what he stated in his previous interview.

Baby Lasagna represented Croatia at Eurovision 2024 and managed to get the best result of the country, in almost 30 years of its participation, finishing in second place with 547 points:
