Italy: Detailed Results of Sanremo 2025 Announced

RAI has officially released the detailed results of Sanremo 2025.

First Night

All 29 artists competed in the first night, with results determined entirely by the journalists’ vote. Giorgia topped the rankings, followed by Simone Christicchi, Brunori Sas, Lucio Corsi, and Achille Lauro in the top five. The eventual winner, Olly, placed sixth.

Second Night

On the second night, 15 of the 29 artists performed their songs for the second time. The results were based 50% on the public vote and 50% on radio representatives. This time, Simone Christicchi came first, with Fedez, Giorgia, Achille Lauro, and Lucio Corsi completing the top five.

Third Night

The remaining 14 contestants performed their entries again, with voting once more split between the public and radio representatives. Brunori Sas secured first place, followed by Olly, Irama, Francesco Gabbani, and Coma_Cose.

Overall Standings After Two Performances

After two rounds of performances, the rankings were:
1️⃣ Brunori Sas
2️⃣ Olly
3️⃣ Simone Christicchi
4️⃣ Fedez
5️⃣ Giorgia

Final Night

In the first phase of the final night’s voting, results were determined by 34% public vote, 33% radio representatives, and 33% journalists. Despite ranking first among both journalists and radio voters, Giorgia finished sixth with the public, narrowly missing out on the top five.

The winner, Olly, placed seventh with radio voters, fifth with journalists, and second in the public vote. The public vote winner was Brunori Sas.

Super Final

The final round also used a three-way voting system. Lucio Corsi won the radio vote, followed by Olly—the same ranking applied to journalists’ votes. However, in the public vote, Olly took the top spot, with Lucio Corsi in second place.

Final Results (All Votes Combined):

3rd place: Brunori Sas – 20.3%
2nd place: Lucio Corsi – 23.4%
Winner: Olly – 23.8%

The math does not make sense for Olly’s ranking. Giorgia, Lucio Corsi, Brunori Sas and Fedez performed better in most of the nightly rankings, yet Olly was put in second in the cumulative ranking, and only won the televote in the super final, and yet won the whole thing. This looks very odd. Olly should step aside and let Lucio Corsi go to Eurovision, Lucio is the mathematical winner.
