The third heat of Melodifestivalen 2025, will take place on Saturday, February 15th at ABB Arena Syd, in Västerås

Meanwhile, the Swedish national broadcaster, SVT, released the lyrics of all six competing songs, of this upcoming heat.

You can read the lyrics of the competing songs down below:

  • Greczula – “Believe Me”

There was a boy

Caught in a dream

Sailing on Saturn’s rings

(Aaaah aaaah)

Open your eyes

Look at the stars, looking so lonely

It’s lonely at the top

But it’s beautiful from far away

From far away

You best believe me

(Best believe me)

You never know a good thing until it’s gone

It’s so easy

(It’s so easy)

You could have been here dancing all along

(Could have been here dancing all along)

Some people stay

Some people won’t

So love them before they go

Open your eyes

Open your heart, you know it gets lonely

It’s lonely on this rock

But there’s beauty all around this place

In every face

You best believe me

(Best believe me)

You never know a good thing until it’s gone

(Never know, never know)

It’s so easy

(It’s so easy)

You could have been here dancing all along

Yeah

Best believe me

It’s so easy

Best believe me

It’s so easy

It’s so easy

You best believe me

(Best believe me)

You never know a good thing until it’s gone

(Never know, never know)

It’s so easy

(It’s so easy)

You could have been here dancing all along

(Could have been here dancing all along)

You never know a good thing until it’s gone

You could have been here dancing all along

  • Malou Prytz – “24K Gold”

It’s what I’m made of

But I was afraid of

My inner brightness

I could be priceless

Good girls don’t speak up

March to the beat of

Somebody else’s

Drum and I felt it

Was trying to be somebody

That wasn’t me, you know

I had to leave the party

To meet myself and now I know

I got that afterglow

It’s like I’m made of gold

Don’t need no daylight

Or midnight

Cause I’m 24 carat gold

I feel so art nouveau

High tea in Tokyo

Don’t need no daylight

Or midnight

Cause I’m 24 carat gold

I got that afterglow

It’s like I’m made of gold

Don’t need no daylight

Or midnight

Cause I’m 24 carat gold

I feel so art nouveau

High tea in Tokyo

Don’t need no daylight

Or midnight

Cause I’m 24 carat gold

I’m feeling frosty

Like I’m so costly

Girl in the mirror

I see you clearer

Was trying to be somebody

That wasn’t me you know

I had to leave the party

To meet myself and now I know

I got that afterglow

It’s like I’m made of gold

Don’t need no daylight

Or midnight

Cause I’m 24 carat gold

I feel so art nouveau

High tea in Tokyo

Don’t need no daylight

Or midnight

Cause I’m 24 carat gold

Let me show you

I was born to

Lose control

Maybe now

You’ll see that

I am made of gold

I got that afterglow

It’s like I’m made of gold

Oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh

I got that afterglow

It’s like I’m made of gold

Don’t need no daylight

Or midnight

Cause I’m 24 carat gold

I feel so art nouveau

High tea in Tokyo

Don’t need no daylight

Or midnight

Cause I’m 24 carat gold

Marken under mig får gärna rasa

Bära dig i famnen

If you know what I mean

I say hey, let’s go

  • Angelino – “Teardrops”

There you go

Spreading lies down on me

I don’t mind

You do you and I do me

You walked out through the door

Without a warning

Told me, babe I’ll be back in the morning

Like you’ve done

A million times before

You were taking the lead

Of our love and I’d follow

Made me believe

Though my heart was hollow

Played a saint

But you came down as a sinner

So go ahead now

Go ahead now

I see you’re crying in the rain

No angel’s gonna feel your pain

So save them for another day

Like teardrops fall from heaven

I see you’re crying in the rain

No angel’s gonna feel your pain

So save them for another day

Like teardrops fall from

Heaven heaven heaven

Fall from heaven heaven

Teardrops fall from

Heaven heaven heaven

Fall from heaven

Heaven

All the things

We never did, we’ll never do

Bet you thought I would be lost

Without you

You were taking the lead

Of our love and I’d follow

Made me believe

Though my heart was hollow

Played a saint

But you came down as a sinner

So go ahead now

Go ahead now

Oooh, I see you’re crying in the rain

No angel’s gonna feel your pain

So save them for another day

Like teardrops fall from heaven

I see you’re crying in the rain

No angel’s gonna feel your pain

So save them for another day

Like teardrops fall from

Heaven heaven heaven

Fall from heaven heaven

Teardrops fall from

Heaven heaven heaven

Fall from heaven

Heaven

Teardrops fall from heaven

No angel’s gonna feel your pain

Not today

Oooh, I see you’re crying in the rain

No angel’s gonna feel your pain

So save them for another day

Like teardrops fall from heaven

I see you’re crying in the rain

No angel’s gonna feel your pain

So save them for another day

Like teardrops fall from

Heaven heaven heaven

Fall from heaven heaven

Teardrops fall from

Heaven

Teardrops fall from Heaven

  • Annika Wickihalder – “Life Again”

Oh oh oh oh

Oh oh oh oh

I run through the darkness ’til I’m out of breath

(Start to see it, start to believe it)

I promised myself to hold on ’til the end

(Start to see it, start to believe it)

A new day is dawning

And I can see colors again

The blue skies, the green grass

Repainting my world as they blend

I can feel it coming

I can feel it coming in the air

And I keep on falling

Falling in love with life again

I can feel it coming

I can feel it coming in the air

And I keep on falling

Falling in love with life again

Oh oh oh oh

Oh oh oh oh

Oh oh oh oh

Falling in love with life again

I’m thanking the rain ’cause it washed off my pain

(Start to see it, start to believe it)

The drums of the thunder are leading my way

(Start to see it, start to believe it)

A new day is dawning

And I can see colors again

I can feel it coming

I can feel it coming in the air

And I keep on falling

Falling in love with life again

I can feel it coming

I can feel it coming in the air

And I keep on falling

Falling in love with life again

Oh oh oh oh

Oh oh oh oh

Oh oh oh oh

Falling in love with life again

Oh oh oh oh

Oh oh oh oh

Oh oh oh oh

(A new day is dawning)

I made it through the night

(A new day is dawning)

I’ve waited for the light

(A new day is dawning)

And I can see colors again

I can feel it coming

I can feel it coming in the air

And I keep on falling

Sweden: Surprise new entry added to the line-up of Melodifestival 2025!

In anticipation of the announcement of the participants for Melodifestivalen 2025, Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet has revealed an entry that seems to shake things up among the contenders for Sweden’s representative at Eurovision 2025.

Maria Persson from Blender, Maria Rolf from Titanix, and Sandra Estberg from Martinez are the three singers from three different dance groups that seems to have been specially selected to form a female supergroup, ready to compete in Melodifestivalen 2025.

The aim of this collaboration, according to the source, is to strengthen the presence of female dance groups, a category that has not been very common in the past, as most of the dance groups like Arvingarna, Lasse Stefanz, and Casanovas that participated in Melodifestivalen had only male members.

According to the soursces backstage, Melodifestivalen’s producer Karin Gunnarsson worked hard to find the right artists and the perfect song in order to carry out this challenging project, as it was important to include a female-led dance group this time.

The song is described as a powerful, pop, dance track, which is said to have been written by Swedish composer and producer Mikael Karlsson, who is credited as a writter in“I Do” by Arvingarna, which competed in Melodifestivalen 2019 and became very popular.
