The 73rd Festival di Sanremo has come to an end, crowning Marco Mengoni winner with the song Due Vite.
Amadeus, along with Gianni Morandi and Chiara Ferragni, were tonight’s presenters. There were also a lot of guest appearances, including a message from Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy and a performance by Depeche Mode.
During the first phase of the final we listened to all 28 songs again for the third time and, after a 100% televoting which was added to the rankings of the previous nights, the first 5 songs qualified to the next phase: the super final, in which voting restarted from zero, not taking into consideration any of the previous voting procedures of the whole week. In the super final, everyone had a say: televoting by 34%, demoscopic jury by 33% and jury of journalists also by 33%.
The performances
Elodie – Due
Elodie’s best performance in this year’s Sanremo. Her look is gorgeous and she’s very good vocally.
Colla Zio – Non mi va
A performance with lots of energy, the band truly seem to enjoy themselves!
Mara Sattei – Duemilaminuti
An on spot performance as always, Sattei receives big applause from the audience.
Tananai – Tango
Tananai enters wearing a yellow and blue flower. His performance is really emotional and and the audience cheer. At the end, he thanks the Ukrainian protagonists of his music video.
Colapesce Dimartino – Splash
A performance with a lot of humor. The song is very retro and the audience clap to the rhythm.
Giorgia – Parole dette male
A very warm welcome for the famous singer. An excellent performance vocally.
Modà – Lasciami
Another great performance from the beloved pop-rock band.
Ultimo – Alba
Possibly his best and most moving performance in this year’s Sanremo. Vocally excellent and full of emotion and power.
Lazza – Cenere
A powerful performance with the audience singing along and cheering at the end.
Marco Mengoni – Due vite
The steady number one during the whole week delivers yet another excellent performance full of emotion.
Rosa Chemical – Made in Italy
An epic performance that everyone will remember for a long time. The singer takes Fedez from the audience, who’s sitting first row, brings him on stage and kisses him. The audience cheers.
Cugini di Campagna – Lettera 22
A nostalgic song with a beautiful performance by the group who, despite their huge status, take part in Sanremo for the first time.
Madame – Il bene nel male
Another beautiful performance by the very emotional by the end Madame.
Ariete – Mare di guai
The young singer’s best performance who seems more comfortable on stage than in the previous nights.
Mr. Rain – Supereroi
The choir of children returns to the stage and the audience is moved. Another moving performance by the dark horse of this year’s Festival.
Paola e Chiara – Furore
A fun song and performance which takes us back to the dance music of the 00’s.
Levante – Vivo
A great performance by Levante who unfortunately is quite underrated this year.
LDA – Se poi domani
A good performance by the newcomer.
Coma_Cose – L’addio
The duet’s best performance.
Olly – Polvere
A satisfying, uplifting performance from the newcomer.
Articolo 31 – Un bel viaggio
Big applause for the hip-hop duo and their nostalgic song.
Will – Stupido
A satisfying performance from another newcomer. Amadeus congratulates all newcomers who take place in Sanremo for the first time this year.
Leo Gassmann – Terzo cuore
Lots of smiles and lots of energy from Leo, who seems to really be enjoying himself on stage! Probably his best performance as well.
Gianmaria – Mostro
Another energetic performance from the Sanremo Giovani winner.
Anna Oxa – Sali (Canto dell’anima)
A rather eccentric appearance from Sanremo legend Anna Oxa. Excellent vocally once again.
Shari – Egoista
Newcomer Shari seems a lot more comfortable on stage.
Gianluca Grignani – Quando ti manca il fiato
Full of passion, Grignani’s performance receives a big applause from the audience.
Sethu – Cause perse
The performances part of the final ends with Sethu! Despite coming steadily last in the ranking since the beginning, Sethu delivers a fun and energetic performance.

After Amadeus signaled the closing of the televote lines, he announced the official places 28-6 in the ranking:

Other than the big award of the overall winner, Sanremo gives out a set of extra awards every year, in a beautiful gesture of recognition of specific aspects of the songs, from best lyrics to best composition. The winners of these awards were the following:
