Spain: Details revealed for Nebulossa’s performance!
Spanish TV broadcaster RTVE has revealed further details about the staging of Nebulossa and their song “Zorra” at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö.
RTVE, in disclosing the details of how “Zorra” will be performed at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö, also announced Juan Sebastián and Israel Reyes as the artistic directors.
The aforementioned duo previously oversaw the performance of “Zorra” at Benidorm Fest 2024 and are described as experienced artistic directors and stage designers, having worked on various television programs and events in the past.
Sebastián and Reyes revealed to RTVE that they immediately fell in love with “Zorra” and have an exceptional collaboration with Nebulossa members María Bas and Mark Dasousa, stating that they have their complete trust.
Furthermore, RTVE reveals that Vero Mejía has joined the team as the choreographer for Nebulossa’s performance and promises to create an exceptional show in Malmö:
All elements are being added, and the package is being designed by the artistic direction as a 360° concept – visuals, costumes, choreography, lighting, and production. With these, we have adjusted all the necessary elements to create the best package so that the Spanish delegation arrives in Malmö with a compact product and attention to detail.
Nebulossa is a duo from Ondara in the Valencian Community of southeastern Spain, consisting of singer María “Mery” Bas and producer Mark Dasousa. The couple has been married for 20 years and has two children.
Nebulossa was chosen as the representatives for Eurovision 2024 after their victory at Benidorm Fest 2024, and they will perform their song “Zorra” in the Grand Final on May 11 as well as in the Second Semi-Final!
