Latvia: The detailed results of Supernova 2025 have been announced!

A few days ago, Latvia’s national final, Supernova 2025, took place, with the female group named “Tautumeitas” emerging as the big winner with the song “Bur Man Laimi”.

As we had previously informed you, there was a three-way tie for first place, with Tautumeitas ultimately securing the coveted ticket to Basel, Switzerland, due to their higher televote ranking (2nd place). However, Latvia’s public broadcaster LTV has just revealed the detailed voting results of Supernova 2025 for all participants.

Below, you can find the full results of Supernova 2025 (jury + public voting):

This year, Latvia will compete in the second semi-final of Eurovision 2025, which will take place on May 15th in Basel, Switzerland.

Latvia: Three-way tie at the top of Supernova 2025!

The group “Tautumeitas” will represent Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, after winning the national final Supernova 2025 last night. 

LTV revealed the detailed results of the top three in Supernova 2025, revealing a three-way tie at the top.

Specifically, in the public vote, “Tautumeitas” came in 2nd place, while the jury ranked them 3rd, thus securing the top spot in the overall score. Emilija, who finished 2nd, received 3rd place in the public vote and 2nd place from the jury. “Citi Zēni“, Latvia’s representatives in Eurovision 2022, finished 5th in the televoting, but won the support of the jury, taking 3rd place overall.

Here are the results:

1st place: Tautumeitas – “Bur Man Laimi” 18 points (2nd in televote, 3rd in jury)

2nd place: Emilija – Heartbeat 18 points (3rd in televote, 2nd in jury)

3rd place: Citi Zēni – Ramtai 18 points (5th in televote, 1st in jury)

The detailed results of all participants are expected to be announced soon.

Tautusmeitas, therefore, with the song “Bur Man Laimi” will represent Latvia in Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland, hoping to get this year’s ticket to qualify for the final.

The Latvijas Televīzija (LTV) hosted the grand final of Supernova 2025 tonight to select Dons’ successor for Eurovision 2025.

After an impressive evening, featuring a special performance by Aminata, Latvia’s Eurovision 2015 representative, it was time for the results announcement. The winner was determined by a combination of public voting and a jury panel.

Latvia: The Grand Final of Supernova 2025 Takes Place Tonight!

Another Eurovision 2025 representative will be chosen tonight, as Latvia is set to crown its winner at Supernova 2025! In just a few hours, we will find out which artist will fly the Latvian flag at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel.

A total of ten artists will take the stage tonight, all competing for the chance to represent Latvia in Eurovision 2025. Here are the Supernova 2025 finalists:

The Supernova 2025 champion will be determined through a combination of public voting and a professional jury appointed by Latvia’s national broadcaster. The winner will earn the right to represent Latvia at Eurovision 2025!

For the fourth consecutive year, Ketija Šēnberga and Lauris Reiniks will host Supernova.

Ketija Šēnberga returns for her eighth time as host (previously in 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2024).
Lauris Reiniks, known for representing Latvia at Eurovision 2003 as part of F.L.Y. (Hello From Mars), is back for his fourth time as host (2022, 2023, 2024).

Latvia: The running order of the Supernova 2025 final!

The running order for the final of Supernova 2025, the national competition through which Latvia is going to select its participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, in Basel, Switzerland, has been published.

The running orfer of the artists who are going to claim the representation of Latvia at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest was released today. The artists are going to perform as per below order.

  1. Chris Noah – “Romance isn’t Dead”
  2. PALÚ – “Delusional”
  3. Sinerģija – “Bound By The Light”
  4. Citi zēni – “Ramtai”
  5. Tepat – “Sadzejot”
  6. The Ludvig – “Līgo”
  7. Markus Riva – “Bigger Than This”
  8. Tautumeitas – “Bur man laimi”
  9. Bel Tempo & LEGZDINA – “The Water”
  10. Emilija – “Heartbeat”

The winner of Supernova 2025 and, at the same time, Latvia’s representative in the 69th Eurovision Song Contest will be determined by a combination of the vote of Latvian viewers and the vote of the jury appointed by the Latvian public broadcaster.

The final is scheduled for the upcoming Saturday, February 8.

Latvia: The Semi Final Results of Supernova 2025!

Latvia has officialy begun searching for their next entry in Eurovision and the Semi Final from their national selection “Supernova 2025” has been completed. The show has been broadcasted by “LTV“, Latvia’s national TV broadcaster. For a 4th year in a row, the presentation of Supernova was made by the duo Ketija Šēnberga & Lauris Reiniks.

The Semi Final’ Performances:

Nineteen entries have been competed in the Semi Final for 1 of the 10 tickets for the Final of Supernova 2025:

Latvia: A Surprise Withdrawal from Latvia’s Supernova 2025

A surprise withdrawal was announced just days before the start of Supernova 2025, Latvia’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, which will take place in Basel, Switzerland.

Contestant Grēta (Grēta Grantiņa), who was set to compete in the semi-final of the national competition with her song “Monster”,  was forced to withdraw due to health issues.

Supernova producer Guntars Gulbiņš thanked Grēta for her participation, wished her a speedy recovery, and expressed hope that she will return as a contestant next year. He also confirmed that there will be no significant changes to the semi-final’s live broadcast:

The semi-final will feature 19 artists, and as planned, 10 of them will advance to the final based on a 50/50 split between jury and public voting.
