San Marino: Una Voce per San Marino to Remain as Eurovision Selection for 2023!

Una Voce per San Marino will remain as the Sanmarinese Eurovision selection for Eurovision 2023.

After a long journey with over 600 submitted songs and 7 consecutive nights of shows from San Marino, it’s Achille Lauro, fresh off his Sanremo performance, who will represent Eurovision’s smallest country in Turin this May with the song “Stripper”.

During the winner’s press conference, Federico Pedini Amati, the Secretary of State for Tourism, Postal Services, Economic Cooperation and the World Expo of the Republic of San Marino, confirmed that Una Voce per San Marino would also be used to select the nation’s entrant for Eurovision 2023.

“We’re not stopping here. Next year we will be even bigger.”

Una Voce per San Marino marked only the second time in history that San Marino chose their Eurovision entry through a national final. The first time was in 2018, when 1in360 was used as the Sanmarinese Eurovision selection. Una Voce per San Marino was held over a week, where new artists competed against each other to progress to the final alongside established artists.

Achille Lauro will perform in the first half of the second semi-final on May 12.
