Eurovisionfun: Join The Team | Become a Eurovision blogger!
Do you want to be involved with the Eurovision Song Contest and its national selections? And do you want to work together with others who share your passion? It is not as difficult to get started as you might think. Eurovisionfun is a community of more than 20 contributors reporting on the Eurovision Song Contest from around the globe. We’re always looking for new correspondents to join our team, but now we are also looking for social media managers.
On Eurovisionfun everyone who shows the right skills for it can get their own responsibilities as with us, no-one is higher in ranks – everyone is equal. Whether you’re keen on writing reviews, conducting interviews, making graphics, working on social media or simply finding news for us to cover, there are countless ways for you to contribute.
You don’t have to be a professional journalist, photographer or designer. It will be an advantage if you have previous journalistic experience, but it is not a requirement as we can teach you what you might need as long as we see the talent being present. As we need writers for the English section of our website, it is needed that you are confident writing in this language, and consider yourself being fluent.
You will be writing from home so a good internet connection is needed. If you wish to cover on the spot at a national final or join our team at the Eurovision Song Contest, we will be very happy to see if we can make that happen.
The job is voluntarily, but we help you get contacts, working experience and are of course always willing to provide you with a good recommendation. If you have any professional ambitions in the field of media, journalism or social media, Eurovisionfun is a good place to start! If you also have good video and photo skills, this can be combined.
Social media
We are now looking for one or two people who has experience in managing and operating social media (Instagram and Twitter). It’s not mandatory to have experience but it will be valuated.
How to apply
If you want to apply you just have to send an e-mail to the following adress, telling us your full name, your country, your age and a small bio, describing your self. Our chief in editor will reply to you, as soon as possible.
