Liverpool thriumphed over Glasgow

After a long race that lasted for months, Liverpool won the title of the city that will host Eurovision 2023 next May. Twenty cities expressed their interest in hosting the contest, but Liverpool and Glasgow were the two most likely to host. Special teams from the EBU and the BBC visited the two cities in the previous days, in order to examine in person, which city will be able to have the best hosting. In the end the long-awaited announcement was made through the TV show, BBC One Show and Graham Norton, the British commentator for Eurovision.
