Latvia: “Sudden Lights” won Supernova jury and televote!

The Grand Final for Latvia “Supernova took place last February 11.  “Sudden Lights” with the song “Aijā” were the clear winners – they ended in first place by both the audience and the jury. Sudden Lights received 66,307 votes from the televote.

According to the rules for Supernova, the final result was made up from the audience’s calls and text messages and the jury’s vote.

Here are the detailed results from Supernova:

1. “Sudden Lights” – 1st place in the audience vote (66,307 votes), 1st place in the jury’s evaluation.
2. Patrisha – 2nd place in the audience vote (50,958 votes), 2nd place in the jury’s evaluation.
3. “24. Avēnija” – 4th place in the audience vote (8735 votes), 3rd place in the jury’s evaluation.
4. Markus Riva – 3rd place in the audience vote (27,302 votes), 5th place in the jury’s evaluation.
5. AVÉI – 5th place in the audience vote (8294 votes), 6th place in the jury’s evaluation.
6. RAUM – 6th place in the audience vote (6986 votes), 7th place in the jury’s evaluation.
7. Toms Kalderauskis – 9th place in the audience vote (2608 votes), 4th place in the jury’s evaluation.
8. Alise Haijima – 8th place in the audience vote (5607 votes), 8th place in the jury’s evaluation.
9. Artūrs Hatti – 7th place in the audience’s vote (6251 votes), 10th place in the jury’s evaluation.
10. Luīze – 10th place in the audience vote (2384 votes), 9th place in the jury’s evaluation.

Latvia is set to perform in the First Semi-Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 on May 09.
