Norway: The rumored artists for MGP 2024!

The new Eurovision season has officially kicked off and so have the rumors about the 2024 contest. Today, a list of the potential Melodi Grand Prix 2024 artists was published on Twitter.

It is important to note that the post specifically states that this is not an official list. Furthermore, the aforementioned artists could potentially participate not only as performers, but also as songwriters. 

 

Fans of the Eurovision Song Contest are already familiar with some of the named acts. A few of them are:

  • Adelén (MGP 2013)
  • Emmy (MGP 2021)
  • Farida (MGP 2022)
  • Jørgen Dahl Moe (MGPJR 2009 winner)
  • KEiiNO (Eurovision 2019, MGP 2021)
  • Marcus & Martinus (MGPJR 2012 winners, Melodifestivalen 2023)
  • Mørland (Eurovision 2015, MGP 2019)
  • Raylee (MGP 2020 & 2021)
  • Sval (MGPJR 2011 winner)
  • Kylie Alessandro (MGP 2023)

The following artists round out the list:

  • Ballinciaga
  • Daniel Kvammen
  • Emelie Hollow
  • Erika Norwich
  • Fredik Amadeus
  • Hagle
  • Julie Bergan

This year, Norway was represented by Alessandra and the song “Queen of Kings”. With a total of 268 points, Alessandra came in fifth place overall and third in the televote. Will Norway be able to maintain its success and secure a third consecutive top 10 finish?
