The Netherlands: Nearly 300 entries have been submitted for Eurovision 2024!

The Dutch entry for Eurovision 2024 will be chosen, for yet another year, internally, through jury voting. Interested artists were invited to submit their proposals to the country’s public television on July 12.

Twan van de Nieuwenhuijzen, the jury’s chairman, reported that around 300 proposals were submitted before the deadline closed on Saturday. The songs will be evaluated in the following months, and a choice will likely be made in December.

Tim Douwsma, Numidia, Joost & Donnie, and Stefania are some of the artists that might submit a proposal to represent the Netherlands.

Last year, Mia Nicolai and Dion Cooper represented the Netherlands with the song “Burning Daylight”. The entry placed 13th in the semifinals, marking the country’s first elimination since 2015.
