Czechia: The detailed voting results of ESCZ 2024!

Just a few hours ago, ČT, the national broadcaster of Czechia, announced the winner of its national selection.

A week ago, seven artists performed their songs live during the Czech national final, with voting opening during the evening and closing on December 12. The result was determined by 70% of the voting of an international audience and 30% of the voting of the Czech audience, crowning Aiko with “Pedestal” as the winner of ESCZ 2024.

Moreover, ČT has also published the detailed voting results of ESCZ 2024, which were shaped up as following:

International Votes (70% of the outcome)

Aiko – 33.107 votes
Elly – 7.817 votes
MYDY – 7.283 votes
Tom Sean – 3.573 votes
Lenny – 1.586 votes
Tomas Robin – 1.563 votes
Gianna Lei – 773 votes

Czech Votes (30% of the outcome)

Elly – 24.679 votes
MYDY – 6.443 votes
Lenny – 4.216 votes
Tom Sean – 3.331 votes
Aiko – 2.410 votes
Tomas Robin – 728 votes
Gianna Lei – 372 votes

The Final Result (as calculated and rounded up based on the 70/30 proportion)

Aiko – 23.898 votes
Elly – 12.876 votes
MYDY – 7.031 votes
Tom Sean – 3.500 votes
Lenny – 2.375 votes

It is noticeable that the International and Czech audience did not agree upon the winner of the selection. International viewers gave the win my a massive margin to Aiko, while the Czech audience massively voted for Elly, while placing Aiko fifth out of seven. Although, the win in the international votes was crucial for Aiko, giving her the ticket to Malmö.
