Israel: The artist for Eurovision 2025 will be selected through Hakokhav Haba!

Israel’s public television (KAN) continues the successful recipe of Hakokhav Haba (The Rising Star), the talent show through which it basically chooses the artist to represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest.

As our friends at Euromix report, in the next few days the renewal of the contract between KAN and the Keshet TV network is expected to be signed, for the production of Hakokhav Haba 2025. Netta Barzilai, who won the competition in 2018, also emerged from this show , but also three more representatives who were in the top 10.

Since 2015, whenever Israel uses the Hakokhav Haba as a method of selecting the artist for Eurovision, it always advances to the final.

The talent show is expected to hit our screens in the last quarter of the year, with the winner emerging early in the new year.

Israel was represented this year by Eden Golan, who with her Hurricane took fifth place in the grand final, taking second place in the televoting.
