Cyprus: The Most Likely Release Date of the Song | The Surprise Director of the Video Clip

The Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (RIK) is in the final stretch for the release of its Eurovision 2025 entry. With the video clip already completed, only the final details remain before locking in the song’s release date.

When Will We Hear Theo Evan’s Song?

Although the initial plan by the artistic team behind Theo Evan and his entry was to release the song during the first week of March, it now appears that the second week is the preferred option, with March 10 being the most likely date. However, this is not yet confirmed, but at this stage, it seems to be the strongest possibility.

Who Directed the Video Clip?

As previously reported, the filming of Cyprus’ Eurovision video clip has been completed. The shooting took place in both indoor and outdoor locations, and the final result seems to have fully satisfied the Cypriot delegation.

The biggest surprise, however, is the identity of the video clip’s director. Theo Evan himself took on the role of director, with RIK wanting to showcase this additional talent of his beyond just being a performer.

It is extremely rare for an artist to direct their own music video, and it might even be a first in Eurovision history.

Rehearsals Underway

Theo Evan is currently in Athens, rehearsing with Victoria Halkiti. According to our sources, the song is quite demanding, and the team is focusing heavily on delivering a flawless vocal performance.

In early March, Theo will travel to Madrid for further rehearsals focused on his stage performance. Also present will be Sergio Jaen, the talented Spanish director who serves as the artistic director for this year’s Cypriot entry. This will be Theo’s second trip to Madrid for rehearsals.

RIK is keeping the stage performance details under tight wraps, expressing great confidence in the final outcome.

Upcoming Announcements

In the coming days, the choreographer and the dancers who will accompany Theo Evan on stage in Basel are expected to be revealed. It will be a fresh name that will generate buzz, as they have worked with major global music stars.
