Greece: The first photo from the filming of the ‘Asteromata’ music video!

As previously reported, the filming of the ‘Asteromata’ music video is already underway, and just moments ago, the first behind-the-scenes photo was released. Set against the backdrop of a fire in the countryside, the image captures an intense and symbolic moment, seemingly linked to the video’s thematic essence.

The Greek delegation has chosen two iconic locations for the video shoot, each carrying a unique symbolic significance for Greece. The first part of the filming took place in Tetralofos, Kozani, a mountainous settlement primarily inhabited by Pontic Greek refugees and their descendants. With a population of fewer than 300 people, the village stands as a living testament to Pontic cultural heritage, upheld by the local cultural and folklore association.

Filming in Tetralofos began last Sunday and continued through Monday, with Klavdia and the artistic team working tirelessly from the early morning hours until late at night. Approximately 30 villagers participated in the process, further enhancing the video’s authenticity.

However, Tetralofos is not the only location to host the production. According to exclusive sources, Klavdia will soon travel to the Temple of Poseidon in Sounion, an internationally renowned archaeological landmark. Built around 440 BCE, this sanctuary dedicated to the god of the sea is one of Greece’s most significant historical sites, attracting visitors from around the world each year.

By selecting these two locations, the artistic team aims to highlight the timeless connection between ancient and modern Greek culture, emphasizing the continuity of Greek history from antiquity to the present. The ‘Asteromata’ music video aspires to convey a powerful cultural message, blending music with the imagery of Greece’s rich heritage.

The video is directed by Giorgos Benioudakis, and anticipation for the final result is already high. With the first glimpses hinting at something extraordinary, audiences eagerly await the unveiling of this journey through time and tradition on screen.
