Poland: All the songs of “Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję!” are available for streaming!

On Sunday, 26th of February the Polish national final “Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję!” is going to take plac, in order to decide which song will represent Poland at Eurovision 2023.

The ten songs that will try to claim the ticket for Liverpool are available on all streaming platforms, these are the candidates for the national final with their songs:

 

  1. Natasza – Lift u up
  2. Kuba –  You Do Me
  3. Ahlena – “Booty
  4. Dominik Dudek – Be Good
  5. Alicja Szemplińska – New Home
  6. Felivers – Never Back Down
  7. Maja Hyży – “Never Hide
  8. Jann – “Gladiator
  9. Blanka – “Solo
  10. Yan Majewski – Champion

The voting process of  Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję! won’t be held with a superfinal round from the offseting of public vote and the jury vote like it happened last year but the winner will be announced based on the first part of the voting. In case of a tie the public vote will decide the winner.

Poland: More info about Tu bije serce Europy revealed!

A few hours ago, the website Dziennik Eurowizjny revealed a few more details about the polish national final, “Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję!” which is set to take place this Sunday, February 26.

The Invited Artists:

Othetr than Kalush Orchestra, the winners of Eurovisio 2022, and Stefania, representative of Greece in Eurovision 2020 and 2021, these artists will perform on the stage of the national final:

  • Edyta Górniak (Poland 1994)
  • Ochman (Poland 2022)
  • Efendi (Azerbaijan 2021)
  • Sarah James (Poland Junior Eurovision 2021)
  • Roksana Węgiel (Winner of Junior Eurovision 2018)

The Members of the Jury:

The jury that will determine the 50% of the fina result is consisted of:

  • Edyta Górniak (Poland 1994)
  • Marek Sierocki (TV host)
  • Agustin Egurola (Choreographer)
  • Marcin Kusy (Director of the Radio Station Jedynka)

How will the winner be decided:

As of now, we were informed that Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję! is going to have a super final round with the three most voted artists. However this is not going to happen anymore, and the winner of the Polish nationa final, will be decided in only one round of voting. In case of a tie, the public vote will be taken into account.

The artists competing in the national final are:

  3. Ahlena – “Booty
  4. Dominik Dudek – Be Good
  5. Alicja Szemplińska – “New Home
  6. Felivers – Never Back Down

  10. Yan Majewski – Champion

There are two returning artists, Alicja who was set to represent Poland in Eurovision 2020 with the song “Empire” and Kuba who ended up in fourth place of last year’s national final with the song “Lovesick”.

At Eurovision 2022, Poland was represented by Krystian Ochman with “River”, and he placed 12th in the Grand Final, achieving the best result for the country since 2016.

Poland: Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję running order revealed!

Today Polish Head of Delegation revealed the running order of the songs competing at Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję!

Ten songs are competing in the Polish national final to represent the country in Liverpool.  Polish head of delegation Maja Frybes revealed the running order in her Instagram Stories.  The ten candidates will perform at Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję! in the following running order:

  1. Natasza
  2. Kuba
  3. Ahlena
  4. Dominik Dudek
  5. Alicja Szemplińska
  6. Felivers
  7. Maja Hyży
  8. Jann
  9. Blanka
  10. Yan Majewski

Ochman represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with his song river.  He finished in 12th place in the Grand Final, Polish best result since 2016

Poland: Extends the deadline for Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję 2023!

Poland’s national broadcaster, TVP, has announced that it will extend the deadline for submitting songs for the country’s national final, Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję. The submission deadline had been set to be open for submissions until January 15th, but will be extended until February 10th!

The names of the participants will be announced soon after the deadline, by February 15th at the latest. TVP intends to reveal this information on the aforementioned date, with the televised Final taking place on February 26th, as previously scheduled.

The Polish site Eurowizja.org has information that the score will be split 50/50 in the jury and public vote. However, in the event of a tie, the jury members’ choice will prevail and thus the Polish representative will be appointed to fly to Liverpool next May.

Some of the names that have already submitted proposals have also been announced, such as that of Kuba Szmajkowski, who came fourth place in last year’s edition of the national final.

Poland: Poland’s Eurovision Pre-Party will be held on April 1st!

Eastern Europe is set to return to the Eurovision Pre-Party programme , with a new event taking place in Poland. The Polish Eurovision Pre-Party will be held in Warsaw on April 1st .

The Polish Eurovision Party is organized by PR Target Agency and the host is going to be Konrad Zemlik . The event will include many participants from Eurovision 2023 taking the stage as well as some special guests.

The dates of the remaining Eurovision Pre-Parties that have been announced so far are:

  • March 24 –  Spain – Barcelona Eurovision Party 2023
  • March 25 –   Spain – Barcelona Eurovision Party 2023
  • March 26 –   Spain – Barcelona Eurovision Party 2023
  • April 7 –  Spain – PrePartyES 2023
  • April 8 –   Spain – PrePartyES 2023
  • April 15 –   Netherlands – Eurovision in Concert 2023
  • April 16 –   United Kingdom – London Eurovision Party 2023

Poland took 12th place in the Eurovision 2022 final with the song River.
