Slovenia: Melani Mekicar will be Slovenian spokesperson for Eurovision 2023

Melani Mekicar will be the spokesperson for Slovenia during the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.

The TV presenter and actress will announce the results from the Slovenian jury during the final tomorrow night.  In addition to her work on tv, Melani is related to the Slovenian representatives Joker Out.  In fact, Melani hosted the EMA together with leader from Joker Out, Bojan in 2022.

Belgium: Bart Cannaerts Will Reveal The Jury Points for Eurovision 2023!

Comedian and famous TV presenter Bart Cannaerts will reveal the results of the Belgian jury in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.

The scores of the Belgian jury in the Grand Final of the 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will be announced by Bart Cannaerts, known for his participation in The Masked Singer, De dag vandaag and De Allerslimste Mens ter Wereld 202.

The other spokespersons announced to date are:

Estonia – Ragnar Klavan
Albania – Andri Xhahu
Cyprus – Loukas Hamatsos
Greece – Fotis Sergoulopoulos
Israel – Ilanit
San Marino – John Kennedy O’Connor

Eurovision 2023: These are the German and Maltese spokespersons!

The National Broadcasters from Germany and Malta have announced their spokepersons for Eurovision 2023!

Germany

Announced via the German Eurovision related Instagram account, Elton will give the 12 points from the German Jury. Elton is well known in German showbiz, as he has been a presenter in serveral shows, one of which is also related to a singing contest. Also in 2004 and 2010, Elton was the commentator for the song contest.

Malta

TVM has announced that Ryan Hill will anounce the results of the Maltese Jury in this year’s competition. Ryan is an artist and came second in this year’s National Final Malta Eurovision Song Contest.

Australia: Catherine Martin will be Australian spokesperson

Costume designer Catherine Martin will be Australian spokesperson for Eurovision 2023.

The four times Oscar winner will announce the results from the Australian jury at the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.  She is well-known for her work with her husband and creative partner Baz Luhrmann for over 30 years on different productions.  They are considered two of the most innovative creators of film, theatre and entertainment.

“I am so excited to be the spokesperson for Australia at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Since my first memories of ABBA exploding onto the stage and becoming the worldwide phenomenon they are, I have been obsessed, not only with the extraordinary celebration of music and songwriting but also with the inspiration, staging, costuming, and lighting. Eurovision celebrates not only musical excellence but the presentation of music, in visually extraordinary ways.”

Lithuania: Monika Liu will be Lithuanian spokesperson!

Monika Liu will announce the jury results from Lithuania this year at Eurovision 2023.  The singer represented the Baltic country at Eurovision 2022.

Monika Liu is coming back again as the spokesperson for Lithuania.  She represented the country in Turin with her song “Sentimentai” marking the first time Lithuania sent a song in Lithuanian language since 1994.

France: Anggun will announce the votes of the French jury!

TV France, the national French broadcaster, announce the name of Anggun as the spokesperson of the French jury votes. Anggun is a former Eurovision contestant, having previously represented France in Eurovision 2012 in Baku with her song “Echo (You & I)”.

In fact, it is the first time since 2012 that a former French Eurovision contestant will announce the French votes.

Anggun will not only be the French spokesperson in Eurovision 2023 but she will also be commentating for the French television in the two semifinals on May 9 and 11.

Sweden: Farah Abadi is announced as the Swedish spokesperson for Eurovision 2023!

SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, has announced the name of this year’s Swedish spokesperson. It will be no other than Farah Abadi, the host of the 2022 and 2023 editions of Melodifestivalen, the Swedish selection for Eurovision.

Regarding her announcement as Sweden’s spokesperson for Eurovision 2023, Farah Abadi mentions:

It is a childhood dream to be the one who hands out the Swedish points in Eurovision. No one is more motivated than me.

The selection of the spokespersons is usually conducted among TV profiles, artists, musicians or people connected to Eurovision and that led SVT to give to Farah Abadi this honorable mission.

Sweden, one of the biggest fan favorites to win Eurovision 2023, participates with Loreen and her song Tattoo in the 1st semi final on May 9, performing 11th.
