The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 is going to be broadcast in Slovakia through the frequency of the radio station Rádio_FM.
The Slovak audience will be able to follow this year’s competition through Rádio_FM. Rádio_FM is one of the four radio channels of the country’s national broadcaster RTVS and targets a younger audience that focuses on alternative music and broadcasts live festivals. The radio station has been broadcasting Eurovision for a number of years.
Daniel Baláž, Lucia Haverlík, Pavol Hubinák and Juraj Malíček will commentate the show from Bratislava. Daniel Baláž and Pavol Hubinák have been commentating on the contest since 2012 for Rádio_FM.
The last time this central European country took part was in 2012 with Max Jason Mai and the song “Don’t Close Your Eyes” but failed to qualify for the grand final as they finished in 18th and last place in the second semi-final with 22 points.
