Estonia: Eesti Laul 2024’s 5 pre-qualified finalists!

The five artists who are automatically qualified for the Eesti Laul 2024 final have been unveiled by Estonia’s official broadcaster, ERR. These five performers round up the lineup for this year’s Estonian national final, along with the remaining fifteen entries that were revealed yesterday and will compete in the semi-final on January 20.

The following five performers are automatically qualified for the Eesti Laul 2024 final:

  1. Βrother Apollo – “Bad Boy” (Erkii Sippel, Joseph Miettinen)
  2. Daniel Levi – “Over The Moon” (Daniel Levi Viinalas, Victor Crone, Vallo Kikas)
  3. Nele-Liss Vaiksoo – “Kate umber jaa” (Peter Poder, Allan Kasuk, Nele-Liss Vaiksoo, Marek Sadam)
  4. Carlos Ukareda – “Never Growing Up” (Carlos Ukareda)
  5. Uudo Sepp, Sarah Murray – “Still love” (Liis Hainla, Uudo Depp, Joel Sundkvist, Aleksi Wiklund)

The following artists will compete in the semi-final:

  1. 5miinust ja Puuluup – “(nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi” (Põhja Korea, kohver, Lancelot, Päevakoer, Marko Veisson, Ramo Teder, Kim Wennerström)
  2. Anet Vaikmaa – “Serotoniin” (Sven Lõhmus)
  3. Antsud – “Vetevaim” (Aile Alveus, Antsud)
  4. Cecilia –“FOMO”, autorid Cecilia-Martina Mägi, Sander Sadam, Liis Hainla
  5. Ewert and The Two Dragons – “Hold Me Now” ( Ewert Sundja, Erki Pärnoja, Ivo Etti, Kristjan Kallas)
  6. Inga – “No Dog On a Leash”, (Inga Tislar, Markus Palo)
  7. Ingmar – “Dreaming” (Ingmar Erik Kiviloo)
  8. Laura – “Here’s Where I Draw the Line” (Laura Põldvere, Johannes Lõhmus)
  9. Multikas, Ewert Sundja – “Oblivion” (Joosep Järvesaar, Hugo Martin Maasikas, Ewert Sundja)
  10. Ollie – “My Friend” (Oliver Mazurtšak)
  11. Peter Põder “Korra veel” (Peter Põder)
  12. Silver Jusilo – “Lately” (Silver Jusilo, Markus Palo)
  13. Sofia Rubina – “Be Good” (Jason Hunter, Robert Stanley Montes, Renae Rain)
  14. Traffic – “Wunderbar” ( Stig Rästa, Silver Laas)
  15. Yonna – “I Don’t Know About You” (Johanna Eendra, Jakob Kaarma, Semjon Greef)

The semi-final of Eesti Laul 2024 is scheduled to take place on 20 January in Tartu, while the final will take place on 17 February in Tallinn.

This year Estonia was represented by Alika, with the song “Bridges”. Alika managed to defy predictions and deliver her country the best result in recent years by placing 8th with 168 points despite the bookies’ doubts about her qualification.
