Croatia: Let 3 return to Dora 2024!

As we’ve informed you, the submission period for Dora, the national final of Croatia for Eurovision 2024, ended yesterday, with a record-breaking number of submissions, that reached 203 songs. There are artists that have already confirmed their participation, and some others that have been asked.

According to the Croatian newspaper, Jutarnji, there is a solid chance that the previous Croatian representatives, Let 3, have once again submitted a song for Dora 2024.

The group submitted their song yesterday, just some minutes before the deadline.

However Damir Martinović Mrle, the lead singer of the group, did not confirm this rumour:

“We registered? Really?”

According to Rijekan press, the home city of the group, Let 3’s song for Dora, whether it succeeds to pass the strict judgment of the jury, will be completely new, original and unheard of.

Some other artists that have reportedly submitted their song for Dora 2024, is the group Vetra, whose lead singer stated:

“This year we are celebrating 25 years of the band’s existence, so we decided to send a song to Dora as well. So far, we have performed in various places: we played on a plane, in Dom sportova, in KD Lisinski, but we have never been to Dora, so we decided to try it. The song we sent to the competition is not typical for Vatra, in it we use the mandolin, some electronic sounds, as well as the sounds of nature for the first time”

One more artist that has submitted his song, is Danijel Popović, representative of Yugoslavia, with the song “Džuli”, who managed to get 4th place in Eurovision 1983, one of the country’s best results.

According to unofficial info, Dora 2024 will take place in February 24 in Opatija, where the representative of Croatia for Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be known.

Let 3 represented Croatia in Eurovision 2024 with their song, “Mama ŠČ”, ending up in 13th place, managing to bring Croatia back to the final for the first time since 2017:
