San Marino: Tonight the grand final of Una Voce per San Marino 2024!

The Una Voce per San Marino reaches its climax, through which the microstate of the Italian Peninsula will select the artist and song to represent it in Malmo. Today marks the grand final of the national selection of San Marino, with the winner set to represent the Republic in the 68th Eurovision Song Contest.

UVPSM 2024

129 emerging artists competed in the semi-finals of San Marino’s national selection for Malmo, of which nine will advance to the Grand Final. These nine artists will meet in the final eight artists who will be selected and invited by RTV as established artists. The semi-finals for emerging artists took place on February 15 and 16 and were broadcast from February 19 to 23.

The Grand Final of UVPSM 2024 will take place on February 24 at the Teatro Nuovo di Dogana, and the winner of the selection will have the right to represent the nation in the 68th Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo.

Finalists

Nine artists advanced directly to the grand final of San Marino’s national selection. These artists are:

• Aimie Atkinson – “A Dare For Love”
• Aaron Sibley – “Human”
• Jalisse – “Il Paradiso E’ Qui”
• La Rua – “Governo del cuore“
• Loredana Bertè – “Pazza”
• Marcella Bella – “Chi siamo davvero”
• Pago – “Il Protagonista”
• Wlady, DJ Jad, Corona & Ice MC – “Questa volta“
• Dana Gillespie – The Last Polar Bear (winner of Casperaki)

Five artists secured their qualification from the five semi-finals. They are:

• Daudia – ‘With You”
• BOOOM! – “Dance Like This”
• Mate – “Big Mama”
• DEZ – “Freedom”
• KIDA – “Invincibile”

Three artists advanced through the second chance round and “completed the puzzle” of the seventeen finalists of the grand final of Una Voce per San Marino 2024. They are:

• Masala e Foresta – “Paranoia”
• MEGARA – “11:11”
• XGIOVE – “Nostalgia“

The final result, from which the representative of San Marino in Eurovision 2024 will emerge, will be determined exclusively by the vote of a jury, chaired by Al Bano, the representative of Italy in Eurovision 1976 and 1985 alongside Romina Power.

The hosts of the final are Fabrizio Biggio and Melissa Greta Marchetto.

Piqued Jacks, winners of Una voce per San Marino 2023, failed to qualify for the Grand Final, finishing last in their semi-final with zero points.
