Slovenia: EMA’s return is planned for 2025!

RTVSLO, the Slovenian public broadcaster, has proposed that the national final called “EMA (Evrovizijska Melodija)” returns for Eurovision 2025!

Mario Galunič, journalist in RTVSLO, has written a document, explaining in detail, the broadcaster’s plans for Eurovision 2025. EMA’s return has been included an integral part of their future program.

EMA has been used for many years as the selection process for Eurovision in Slovenia, having been organised since 1996, while in some occasions, the broadcaster, decided to go with an internal selection. In the last two years, opted to go to Eurovision with two internally selected artists, the group Joker Out in 2023 and Raiven in 2024.
