Breaking News: Change of date for ERT’s national final for Eurovision 2025

According to announcements published on Diavgeia, the Greek national final for selecting the artist and entry for Eurovision 2025 will take place on Thursday, January 30, instead of a day earlier as initially announced.

The Christmas Theater is confirmed as the venue for the National Final. Additionally, ERT has reserved the Christmas Theater two days prior (on January 28 and 29), presumably for rehearsals.

The announcement of the 12 finalists of the national final is now a matter of days. The 187 artists who have submitted their entries to ERT are eagerly awaiting the decision of the selection committee regarding the 12 finalists.

According to information recently made public, the selection committee has already listened to the songs. The names of the committee members will be disclosed immediately after the national final.

With the national final scheduled for January 30, the moment of announcements is approaching. It is likely that by next week, we will know the 12 lucky artists competing for the honor of representing Greece in Basel.

Meanwhile, discussions continue with Helena Paparizou and Sakis Rouvas regarding hosting the national final. At the same time, we are also awaiting official confirmation of Fokas Evangelinos’ involvement in the production.
