Norway: These are the hosts of Melodi Grand Prix 2024!
Just a while ago, the public broadcaster of Norway, NRK, revealed the hosts of Melodi Grand Prix 2024, and these are Marion Ravn and Fredrik Solvang!
In detail, Fredrik Solvang, states that he is really excited because he has never done something like that before. Both are happy and surprised that they will be the hosts of Melodi Grand Prix 2024.
“Someone must have thought creatively, because I don’t think I would have come up with this composition myself. We come from different worlds, but at the same time I think that we can make it very exciting.”
Marion Ravn says:
“It was a great honor to be asked. This is one of the greatest things you can be a part of.”
Except of the previously named hosts, Markus Neby will also be on the MGP stage as a reporter.
We remind you that the songs that will compete in MGP 2024, are expected to be released in January 5. Melodi Grand Prix 2024 will last for four weeks and 18 artists will take part:
- January 13 – First Semi-Final
- January 20 – Second Semi-Final
- January 27 – Third Semi-Final
- February 3 – Grand Final
This year, Norway was represented by Alessandra and the song “Queen of Kings”. With a total of 268 points, Alessandra came in fifth place overall and third in the televote:
