EXCLUSIVE: The Music Video for “Asteromata” Filmed at the Temple of Poseidon in Sounio and Tetralophos, Kozani
The Greek delegation is currently filming the music video for Asteromata. Two symbolic locations have been chosen, each carrying a special meaning for Greece.
Klaudia Traveled to Pontic Tetrálophos, Kozani
On Sunday and Monday, Klaudia was in Tetrálophos, Kozani, where she filmed the first part of the music video.
Tetrálophos is a mountainous village in Kozani, primarily inhabited by Pontic Greeks of refugee descent who settled in Greece after the forced population exchange of 1922-1924. It is a small village, with a permanent population of no more than 300 people, but it has preserved its authentic cultural heritage through a local cultural and folklore association.
Filming began last Sunday and continued through Monday, running from early morning until late at night. Around 30 village residents participated in the music video.
The Music Video Will Be Completed at the Temple of Poseidon in Sounio
According to our exclusive information, Tetrálophos is not the only location being used for Asteromata’s music video.
In the coming days, Klaudia will also travel to the Temple of Poseidon in Sounio for additional filming. The iconic sanctuary of the Ancient Greeks, dedicated to the God of the Sea, was built around 440 BC during the same period as the Acropolis under Pericles.
This landmark holds international significance and is an archaeological site that attracts millions of visitors from around the world.
The Symbolism of the Music Video
Through these two locations, Klaudia and the artistic team aim to highlight the connection between ancient and modern Greek culture—a continuous bond that has existed from antiquity to the present day. The video seeks to showcase two important aspects of Greek history, which we all take pride in.
As a reminder, the director of the music video is Giorgos Benioudakis. We eagerly await the final result!
