American Song Contest: The Last Four Qualifiers of the 2nd Semi-Final!
A few moments ago, the qualifiers of the second semi-final, and therefore the last finalists of the American Song Contest 2022 were released. The second semi-final took place last Monday (2/5) with eleven states competing for the last five spots in the final. Tyler Braden from Tennessee won the jury vote and therefore advanced to the grand final!
The last four artists to reach the final are:
- North Dakota: Chloe Fredericks – “Can’t Make You Love Me“
- Connecticut: Michael Bolton – “Beautiful World“
- Texas: Grant Knoche – “Mr. Independent“
- American Samoa: Tenelle – “Full Circle“
The public vote for the finalists will open the day before the grand final. As a reminder, the following artists made it to the final:
- Alabama: Ni/Co – ‘The Difference‘
- American Samoa: Tenelle – “Full Circle“
- Colorado: Riker Lynch – ‘Feel The Love‘
- Connecticut: Michael Bolton – “Beautiful World“
- Kentucky: Jordan Smith – ‘Sparrow‘
- North Dakota: Chloe Fredericks – “Can’t Make You Love Me“
- Oklahoma: AleXa – ‘Wonderland‘
- Tennessee: Tyler Braden – “Seventeen“
- Texas: Grant Knoche – “Mr. Independent“
- Washington: Allen Stone – ‘A Bit of Both‘
This will be the eighth of eight nights and will be broadcast live on Tuesday, May 9, at 2AM CET on NBC. You can also follow the contest from Denmark (DR) at 21:00 CET on Tuesdays, Finland (YLE) on Tuesday evenings, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Luxembourg (Red Bull) on demand, Greece (ERTFLIX), Iceland (RUV), Montenegro (RTCG) at 21:00 CET on Sundays, Norway (NRK) on Saturday nights, Serbia (RTS), Slovenia (RTV SLO) at 22:00 CET on Saturdays, Spain (RTVE Play) and Sweden (SVT)!
