Australia: Listen to “We will rise” for Junior Eurovision 2019

Jordan Anthony will represent Australia at Junior Eurovision 2019 with the song “We Will Rise”.

Jordan is 14 years old and comes from Perth, Australia. He participated in the eighth season of the musical competition “The Voice Australia All Stars”, where he won 4th place with the help of Delta Goodrem’s mentor.

Australia: Diana Rouvas declares willing to compete at Eurovision

After Sheldon Riley, Diana Rouvas, the big winner of The Voice All Star Australia ,is ready to compete on the Eurovision stage.
In a follow-up question to Instagram whether she would like to “go” to Eurovision with either Australia or Greece, she gives her answer:

”I would love to….!!! Should it be with Australia not? But I’m a piece of Greek heritage”.

35-year-old Greek, Diana Rouvas currently has Greek parents and lives in Sydney. She has already excelled in her first attempt at The Voice in 2012 when she reached the semifinals. She is a vocalist, while she also writes her own songs. She was the great winner of the final of The Voice All Star in Australia. Diana is the first woman to win the popular talent show over the past three years, giving her the first win to her mentor, Boy George.

Diana Rouvas was crowned winner of 8th season’s Australian “The Voice”! The 35-year-old Greek singer from Sidney is also the first woman to win the talent show in the last three years and the one who gave Boy George (her coach) his first victory!

This year took part again some previous contestants of this show and other talent shows as well, such as X Factor and Australia Got Talent. Diana had also participated in the 1st season of Australian “The Voice” where she ended up 5th. Her prize includes the amount of $100.000US and a contract with EMI. Furthermore, the host of the show, Sonia Kruger, made it clear that the number of voters was over 600.000.

“I’m shocked! In a good way! I think it was a very unpredictable vote! I’m overwhelmed, I can’t believe it! Thank you so much!”
