The Dream Team comment on the involvement of D. Kontopoulos in the composition of the Greek entry!

The presence of Dimitris Kontopoulos in Symi, together with the other members of the Greek delegation, raised many questions (once again), about the degree of his contribution to the composition of Amanda’s song for Eurovision 2022. Is he the producer of the song? Is he a composer? Is he a composer with Amanda? Is it none of the above? We will try to answer these questions, since Eurovisionfun came in contact with the Dream Team and we convey their comment to you.

On the one hand, and before we quote the Dream Team comment, you should keep in mind that Dimitris Kontopoulos several times in the past was a composer of participations in the contest, without putting his signature. Some of these times it was obvious that he was the creator (Moldova 2018) and sometimes the fact that he was the composer remains a secret to this day.

So whether Dimitris Kontopoulos is the composer or one of the composers of this year’s Greek entry, we will probably never know. But what is definitely true is what we were told by the Dream Team.

Regardless of the fact who is the composer of the song, Dimitris Kontopoulos is the man who has the first and last word in everything that has to do with music. in all our projects. From writing a song, to choosing it, to doing the production. Even if he did not write the song himself, he is certainly the one who chose it, providing his full confidence and approval.

We were explained by the Dream Team, that if Dimitris Kontopoulos did not approve of Amanda’s song, there was no way they could have suggested her to ERT, nor collaborated with her for the Eurovision Song Contest!

But beyond all the above, there is a practical reason that Dimitris Kontopoulos is in Symi. He is a fanatical fan of the island, maintaining a holiday house there.

So whatever the answer to the question, what exactly is the contribution of Dimitris Kontopoulos in the composition of the Greek entry, it is certain that Amanda’s song enjoys its full confidence!

San Marino: With Rappresentante Di Lista at Eurovision 2022?

They may not have won Sanremo 2022, but the Rappresentante Di Lista came back with an enigmatic statement.

Hello, how are you?

We are really thinking of being a candidate for Eurovision with San Marino, we are thinking of doing it!

Whether this is a joke or not we will find out by tomorrow when the artists of Una Voce Per San Marino will be announced.

San Marino RTV announced that the 9 Artists who will compete to represent the country at Eurovision 2022 in Turin will be revealed on February 8. The press conference will be held at the Westin Palace Hotel in Milan, Italy.

Those nine artists have already qualified directly for the final of Una voce per San Marino, which will be held on February 19. In the final, they will compete with 9 other artists who will have participated in a round of semifinals during this week.

This is the first time San Marino has used Una Voce Per San Marino as a selection process, having previously used various formats. This year the process opened worldwide and 299 artists and over 500 songs were selected!

Rappresentante Di Lista finished in seventh place at the Sanremo 2022.

Austria: The representative to be announced tomorrow!

Austria’s national broadcaster, ORF, confirmed just a bit ago via its website that the announcement of the artist who will represent the country in Turin will be made tomorrow during the Ö3-Wecker radio show on Hitradio Ö3, which will be broadcast from 5am to 9am (CET).

Ö3-Wecker has been presenting the country’s representative or entry in the Eurovision Song Contest every year since 2017. Because of this, many suspect that the announcement of the representative will be made around 7:40 (CET) as this has been the scheduled flow of the show in previous years, although this is not officially confirmed.

As we have already informed you, there are now only 2 contenders in the chase for the Austrian ticket to Turin.

DJ Lumix, who became famous with his smash hit “Monster” and is gradually becoming one of the most successful artists in terms of online downloads and has more than a billion streams. And the duo Anger, consisting of Julian Angerer and Nora Pider, who are based in the Austrian capital, Vienna.

2021 was the second consecutive year that Austria failed to qualify for the Grand Final. Will one of the two candidates manage to make Austria a contendable force again?

Andrew is among the contestants of Australia Decides for Eurovision 2022 and he will do his best to represent Australia in Eurovision 2022 with the song “Electrify“.

“I wrote this song together with three of my friends a long time ago. I love Greek and general European music and I will love to combine it with my personal sound. I have been watching Eurovision my whole life and the song wasn’t meant to be for the contest at first but I had a vision that it could do for Eurovison and I always had that in the back of my head. First of all, I talked with my label and my family. My father adviced me to do it. So I decided to send it SBS and everything happened very quickly. It’s amazing that I’m in this position right now. I’m very happy with peoples’ reaction from the snippet I released and I really wish that they will love it, I want to put on a smile on their faces!”

When he first started his career, he took part in the Australian edition of X-Factor and now he’s part of Australia Decides:

“Music is in my blood. I’m very happy because I knew what I wanted since I was five years old. Music is part of my life since forever. It’s a way of me being creative. All the experiences I had with music, starting from Music School and then Australia Decides and possibly in Eurovision, they were all amazing. All of them have been stages of my life to make me come here and I’m very gratefull for all those experiences”

Andrew said that it’s an awesome feeling imagining himself in the Eurovision stage because the contest is a great way to communicate many different type of music styles from many countries, many languages to be heard all over the world and he would feel really grateful if we would manage to win Australia Decides.

He also talked about his stage perfomance on the national final:

“We are preparing everything that we will be doing with the staging. I’m very into visual effects and I’m trying to visualize everything I have in my mind. I can’t say much but it will be something original and amusing for the viewers. Of course there will be a choreography

His favorite Australian entry is Guy Sebastian(2015).From Eurovision, his favorite entries are Marija Šerifović (Serbia 2007), Helena Paparizou (Greece 2005), Loreen (Sweden 2012), Conchita Wurst (Austria 2014), SunStroke Project & Olia Tira (Moldova 2010), Lordi (Finland 2006) και Eleni Foureira (Cyprus2018).

Montenegro: “Breath” to be released on early March!

Every country is currently picking its representative for Turin, while in the meantime, Montenegro starts filming the video clip for “Breath” which is expected to be released on early March!

Indeed, this Monday the country’s representative Vladana will film the video clip in “secret location” with director the renowned Gojko Berkuljian and a team of young artists

The performer gave out some tips about the video that we are going to see in our screens. She said specifically :

“We decided to approach the topic a little differently and communicate it through visually strong metaphorical elements. Playing with surreal elements, we will focus on just ‘breathing’, thus communicating directly with the title of the song. We will treat it as a space that lacks air and where one cannot ‘breathe in.’ The whole ambience will act as if it is frozen in time, with people and things slowly levitating in that airless and weightless space. We aim to make these situations act like ordinary moments from life, which are abruptly stopped and never resume. Everything should act as if those moments from life that are trapped in time slowly begin to crumble, dissipate, erode, and our heroine will stop that state of progressive decay by breaking the vacuum and breathing life.”

After the country’s absence, they return to compete for a place in the final, which they have to get since 2015. That year the country was represented by Knez and the song “Adio“.
