As you can see from the images, the audience will be right in the middle of the action, with our participants performing directly in front of them on a centre stage.

David Tserunyan, the executive producer of Junior Eurovision 2022, explained:

“The stage is a creative visual representation of the official artwork. The centre stage is the spinning top surrounded by strings of light that represent the ‘spinning’. These colourful strings are also reflected above the stage and radiate the energy from every single performance.  While being minimalist, yet technologically advanced, the stage design offers multiple staging possibilities for all of the performers.”

“Our goal was to create a modern and technologically advanced stage that both reflects our vision and is versatile enough to fit the creative needs of the participating broadcasters. We have already started working with our colleagues from all 16 countries and are very excited to deliver a truly magical show this December!”

AMPTV has just announced that Rosa Linn will represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. Her song with the official music video will be released on March 19.

Who is Rosa Linn?

Rosa Linn (Rosa Kostandyan) is a 21 years old singer living and working in Vanadzor, whom the American “Flaunt” magazine called the top female music producer in Armenia. Her debut song is a collaboration with the famous singer Kiiara. She is one of the first artists of  Nvak Collective, pronounced (“nuh-vaak”, which means music in Armenian) a US-based record label. Nvak Collective was Co-Founded by the representative of Armenia at Eurovision 2015, American-Armenian singer-songwriter, Tamar Kaprelian and record producer, Alex Salibian.  Her style is characterized as a mix of 80s and 90s alternative indie pop. Her latest single titled “King” counts over 200 thousand views on YouTube and is a representative sample of the sound she stands for.

It should be reminded that “Eurovision” will take place in Turin, Italy, on May 10, 12 and 14. The representative of Armenia will perform in the second half of the first semifinal.

Last year, Armenia did not participate in the contest due to the post-war situation, lack of time and other objective reasons, and in 2020 the Greek-Armenian singer Athena Manoukian was the country’s delegate, but the contest was cancelled due to the coronavirus.

A couple of hours ago, it was revealed by Hraparak.am that Rosa Linn will represent Armenia at Eurovision Song Contest 2022 which will take place in Turin, Italy. According to reports, despite the fact that the favourites for the race were three names, the channel chose a newcomer for the competition. Based on the rumours, Saro Gevorgyan and Rosa Linn were in the final shortlist. Rosa Linn is the one who got selected and in fact the song and her name will be officially announced in about a month.

Rosa Linn (Rosa Kostanyan) is a 21 years old singer living and working in Vanadzor, whom the American “Flaunt” magazine called the top female music producer in Armenia. Her debut song is a collaboration with the famous singer Kiira. She is one of the first artists of  Nvak Collective, pronounced (“nuh-vaak”, which means music in Armenian) a US-based record label. Armenia: Here’s some exclusive information about the internal selection!

Armenia returns to the Eurovision Song Contest this year, after being forced to abstain last year due to dramatic developments in Nagorno-Karabakh and after its recent victory at Junior Eurovision 2021. Three artists are in the run to represent the country in Turin, according to local media, with Eurovisionfun giving you more information.

The artists participating in the internal closed selection, which Armenia is holding for Eurovision 2022, will have to submit their candidate songs on the country’s public television by January 31st. Big favourites according to what is said in the media, but also according to our information are the winner of the New Wave Festival 2021 Saro Gevorgyan, the representative of Armenia in Eurovision 2020 that was cancelled Athena Manoukian and the drag queen Kamil!

Athena Manoukian
Athena Manoukian, who lives and works in Greece, but is of Armenian descent from her father, has already submitted her song. According to our exclusive information, this is a song signed and written by the songwriters of El Diablo and it is quite reminiscent in style of Stromae’s Alors On Dense.

Saro Gevorgyan
Saro Gevorgyan is in the recording stage of his own participation. By the summer, Saro had hinted that after his victory at the New Wave Festival, the most important music event for the countries of Eastern Europe, he would try to represent Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest. Philipp Kirkorov even reinforced these rumors, saying that Saro should participate in Eurovision 2022.

The rumors are coming true, since after the meeting of the young artist with Dimitris Kontopoulos in Moscow a few days ago, now as mentioned in the local press, the song with which he will claim the ticket of Armenia to Turin is being recorded.

The song according to our information is a dynamic ballad, which highlights the range of Saro’s voice, with a melody that easily stays in the listener’s head.

Kamil

Arsen Gryogoryan or the drag queen he plays, Kamil, may be the outsider, but they also claim to represent Armenia in the competition. In 2018, Kamil participated in Depi Evratesil, occupying the fourth place with the song Puerto Rico. Their participation is expected to be unconventional like all their songs.

Armenia participates in the second half of the first semi-final of Eurovision 2022, hoping to be in the final for the first time since 2017!
