Lithuania: Pabandom iš naujo 2022 final tonight!

Five weeks after the start of Pabandom iš naujo 2022, it is time for the Grand Final of the selection process for the Lithuanian representative in Eurovision 2022.

As it is known, Pabandom iš naujo 2022 consists of six shows: three quarterfinals, two semifinals and the grand final. The result for all 6 nights will be determined 50% by the TV audience and 50% by a five-member jury. For the first time, the judges will not be revealed, with the results announced at the end of each show to ensure that the audience’s vote is not affected.

Presenters of this year’s edition of Pabandom iš naujo are Giedrius Masalskis, Ieva Stasiulevičiūtė and Richardas Jonaitis.

Participants

Eight artists will compete in tonight’s final of Pabandom Iš Naujo 2022, with the winner being the one to represent Lithuania in the 66th Eurovision Song Contest.

These artists are:

Lithuania: Second Pabandom iš naujo 2022 semi-final tonight!

Four weeks after the start of Pabandom iš naujo 2022, it is time for the second semi-final of the selection process for the Lithuanian representative in Eurovision 2022.

As it is known, Pabandom iš naujo 2022 consists of six shows: three quarterfinals, two semifinals and the grand final. The result for all 6 nights will be determined 50% by the TV audience and 50% by a five-member jury. For the first time, the judges will not be revealed, with the results announced at the end of each show to ensure that the audience’s vote is not affected.

Presenters of this year’s edition of Pabandom iš naujo are Giedrius Masalskis, Ieva Stasiulevičiūtė and Richardas Jonaitis.

Participants

Nine artists will be competing in tonight’s second semifinal Pabandom iš naujo 2022, aiming to qualify for the grand final on February 12th.

These artists are:

  1. Urtė Šilagalytė – “Running Chords”
  2. Mary Mo – “Get Up”
  3. Titas ir Benas – “Getting Through This”
  4. Ieva Zasimauskaitė – “I’ll Be There”
  5. Rūta Loop – “Call Me From the Cold”
  6. Augustė Vedrickaitė ft. Under – “Before You’re 6”
  7. Vilija Matačiūnaitė – “Šimtas vienas”
  8. Monika Liu – “Sentimentai”
  9. Moosu X – “Love that Hurts”

Only four of them will qualify and have the opportunity to claim the representation of Lithuania in Eurovision 2022.

Lithuania: Results of the third heat of Pabandom iš naujo

The third heat of  Pabandom iš naujo 2022 took place today, which saw the final 12 hopefuls compete for the right to represent Lithuania at Eurovision 2022. The selection will consist of three heats, two semifinals and the final.

In each heat 6 songs will qualify for the semi finals, which were determined by 50% jury voting and 50% public voting.

The presenters of tonights show were Giedrius Masalskis, Ieva Stasiulevičiūtė and Richardas Jonaitis.

Lithuania: The running order of Pabandom iš naujo’s 3rd Heat!

The running order for the third heat of Pabandom iš naujo! (Let’s Try Again!) was announced today by Lithuania’s public broadcaster (LRT)!

A total of twelve acts will be competing in the show, with the public and a jury selecting the acts progressing to the semi-finals.

The running order for Heat Three of Pabandom iš naujo! 2022 is as follows:

  2. Mėnulio fazė – Give Me a Sign
  3. Lolita Zero – Not Your Mother
  4. Monika Liu – Sentimental
  5. Rūta Loop – Call Me From the Cold
  6. Basas Pegasas – Ponai
  7. Vilija – Šimtas ir vienas
  8. Vasha – Nepaleidi
  9. Emilija Valiukevičiūtė – Overload
  10. Geleibra – Aš jaučiu tave

Pabandom iš naujo 2022 will consist of six shows. Three quarter finals, two semi finals and eventually the big final! The winner will be decided by a 50% jury vote and a 50% public vote. For the first time the jury members will not be revealed and their results will be shown at the end of the show, so that the audience won’t be influenced in any way!

Last year Lithuania chose for the second consecutive time the pop-rock group, The Roop as their representative in the 2021 contest, which got them the 8th place in the Grand Final!

Lithuania: Monika Linkytė and Artūras Aleksiejus-Alekas have withdrawn from the national selection!

Monika Linkytė, that had represented Lithuania in Eurovision 2015 along with Vaidas Baumila, commented to LRT.lt, that she has to withdraw from the national selection, due to a health condition.

I have a cold, I am sick and now unfortunately I have to refrain from singing for a while. It is quite unfortunate and sad, but in this case the most important things are my voice and my health.

Artūro Aleksiejaus-Alekas also commented to LRT.lt that finally he won’t compete in Pabandom naujo, avoiding to comment in detail.

Personal issues, I wouldn’t like to elaborate more about this in public.

Last week, due to some unforeseen events, the group “Baltas pegasas” could not perform on stage, but we will see them perform in the third qualifying show.

We remind you that the six artists that have already qualified are the following:

The second qualifying show will take place on Saturday, the 15th of January at 20:00 CET!

Pabandom naujo 2022 comprises six shows in total. In the beginning there are three heats, with the first heat having been aired on January the 8th, moving on to two semi-finals and then ends with the selection of the Lithuanian entry in the grand final. The winner will be decided by 50% televoting combined with 50% jury voting.

The first heat of  Pabandom iš naujo 2022 took place today, which saw the first 11 hopefuls compete for the right to represent Lithuania at Eurovision 2022. The selection will consist of three heats, two semifinal and one final.

Earlier LRT has stated that due to unforeseen circumstance that Basas Pegasus will perform next Saturday. In each heat 6 songs will qualify for the semi finals, which were determined by 50% jury voting and 50% public voting.

Lithuania: Tonight the first heat of Pabandom iš naujo 2022!

The time that all Lithuanian Eurofans have been waiting for has arrived, as today the curtain opens on Pabandom iš naujo 2022, the method of choosing Lithuanian participation in Eurovision 2022. Over the next six Saturdays, starting tonight, Lithuania is invited to choose who will represent it in Turin.
