Cornald Maas and Stefania will host Eurovision in Concert 2025!

Despite the current uncertainty regarding the Dutch participation in the contest, Eurovision in Concert will return in 2025 for its 15th edition. This event, which consistently hosts the vast majority of the participants each year, as well as numerous past Eurovision representatives, has become a staple and is rightfully considered the biggest pre-party event. Stefania: “Israel I love you and I hope to see you soon”!

Our beloved Stefania spoke on November 16 as part of the big concert in Amsterdam, Het Grote Songfestivalfeest, on euromix, answering whether we will see her soon at Eurovision, about her experience at the contest in 2021, but she also sent a message to Israel.

Stefania, who brought Greece back to the top 10 after 8 years in 2021, is looking forward to being at the competition again, while she is very grateful to her whole team for this achievement.

“At Eurovision 2021 I felt very honored that I was chosen to represent Greece at Eurovision. I am also very grateful and proud of my team. We did it, 10th place!

Having grown up in the Netherlands, but also writing a successful course in the country’s musical affairs, Stefania does not rule out representing her country of residence in the future.

I really want to go back! But who knows…this year it won’t happen anymore, it’s too close, but I’d love to do it for the Netherlands. I represented the Netherlands at Eurovision Junior, so it would be nice to represent them at Eurovision as well.

Sending her own message to Israel and her fans there, Stefania said:

I love you in Israel, I hope to see you soon, kisses!

Stefania is in the studio, working on a special project!

Stefania posted an enigmatic Instagram story earlier today with the caption, “This is something special”. Through the story she revealed that she is working in the studio alongside the Dutch lyricist Anna Rose Clayton and the Greek composer Dimitris Kontopoulos.

Is it about Eurovision?

Stefania’s name is reportedly among those who will take part in the internal selection process of the Dutch public television for Eurovision 2024, according to information published in the Dutch media this summer.

Given that the 30th of September is the deadline for submissions, it is possible that the song or songs Stefania is now recording in the Netherlands have something to do with her candidacy to represent the country in the 68th Eurovision Song Contest.

Stefania represented Greece in Eurovision 2021 and brought her country back to the top 10 after eight years, with Last Dance, a song signed by Dimitris Kontopoulos.

Along with Dimitris Kontopoulos, Ilias Kokotos, the project manager for all of the Dream Team entries in the competition, is also in the Netherlands this time.

It might simply be a new song

Of course, none of the aforementioned scenarios are guaranteed to occur, and it may just be Stefania working on a new song or undertaking something similar to her past work on the Dutch national football team’s anthem.

Furthermore, Stefania and Dimitris Kontopoulos have worked together on a few occasions even after Eurovision, so it is not surprising that they will release another song together, this time for the Dutch market, as they are currently in the Netherlands for the recording process with a local lyricist.

What this recording is intended for will eventually become clear, and Eurovisionfun certainly will have more information soon!

MAD VMA 2023: Käärijä, Stefania, Kalomira and 3SUM, will perform Cha Cha Cha in new English version!

We can say that it is the biggest surprise of this year’s MAD VMA, the Greek music awards, that Käärijä, Stefania, Kalomira and the fresh girl band 3SUM, will perform “Cha Cha Cha”, the runner-up song to this year’s contest, in its first ever English version!

Through our previous articles, you may have speculated a possible appearance of Käärijä at the MAD VMA 2023. However, because of his full schedule, the Finnish singer won’t be able to perfrom live, but he will record a special performance in a green box for this different version of his song, which is directed by none other than, Dimitris Kontopoulos.

The song will be performed in Eglish for the first time ever, in an exciting performance!

“Cha Cha Cha” will be performed live by Stefania, Greece’s first top 10 result in eight years in Eurovision 2021, Kalomira, who won third place in Eurovision 2008 and remains Greece’s last top 5 result, as well as 3SUM the new pop girl band, which hopes to stand out as the only completely pop band of the country.

Our team had the chance to listen to this new version of the song and we can undoubtedly say that it will be the highlight of the night. For the needs of the song and so that each artistcan have a part of the song on themselves, the song is now a little longer.

The MAD VMA 2023 will take place on Monday, June 19 and will be broadcasted at a later time by the Greek broadcaster MEGA TV.

Ukraine: They remain the only country in the contest with no non-qualifications!

Yestarday’s qualification of the folk-rap band Kalush Orchestra representing, of course Ukraine, keeps the country’s record of having qualified for the final of every contest they have taken part in. The uniqueness of the song and the whole political circumstances, made the Eastern European country, win the ticket for the Grand Final once again.

Kalush Orchestra’s live performance with the song “Stefania” kept the country on top of the betting odds and with a “safe distance” from the second place, Italy. The video of their live performance on YouTube has gotten more than 826.000 views in just a few hours.

After Ukraine, the countries with only one non-qualification in the semi-finals are:

  • Sweden (2010)*
  • Azerbaijan (2018)*
  • Australia (2021)*

* All of these countries are competing in the second semi-final where we’ll find out whether these numbers will remain the same.
