We remind you that Emma Muscat won MESC 2022, the national final of Malta, with the song “Out of Sight”, however immediately after her victory, the search for a replacement song began, as read first from Eurovisionfun.

The final choice seems to have been made between “Sand” and the song that in the end represented Malta that year, “I Am What I Am”. Malta got 16th place in the second semi-final of 2022, while this year Denmark placed 12th.
