After all countries have had their three technical rehearsals, it is now time for the accredited to vote for the countries that will advance to the two semifinals, as well as the country that believes she will be the winner of the 66th Eurovision Song Contest.

Ireland: Linda Martin will announce the country’s 12 points!

Today RTÉ revealed who will announce the 12 points for Ireland. The Irish jury’s results will be announced by Linda Martin.

Linda Martin was the winner of Eurovision 1992 with the song “Why Me“. She has also represented Ireland in 1984 with the song “Terminal 3”, ending up second, right behind the winner Sweden. This will be the second time Linda Martin will be Ireland’s spokesperson, the first time being 2007.

Eurovision 2022: Ireland’s Second Rehearsal!

We continue with Brooke Scullion from Ireland and her song ‘That’s Rich‘.

Who is Brooke Scullion?

Brooke Scullion was born on March 31, 1999 and is a singer from Derry, Northern Ireland, known as the contestant in The Voice UK 2020.

She is a student on the Magee campus of the University of Ulster. Scullion has done vocals for singers such as Nathan Carter, and has starred in the musical School of Rock at the Burnavon Theater in Cookstown.

In January 2022, Brooke was announced as one of six finalists to compete in the Irish national final. With ‘That’s Rich’, Brooke won Eurosong 2022 by twenty-eight points.

The rehearsal

Brooke is wearing an electric blue ensemble that includes a short shorts with a chiffon skirt. Accompanied by four dancers dressed in pink. She starts lying on the floor, while blue and pink lights prevail. This is a confident look, which makes excellent use of the projections, both on the floor and on the camera above her head. It also has a strong vocal performance. She plays a lot with the shots and the lights and has a strong choreography.

Eurovision 2022: Ireland’s First Rehearsal!

The first country to have a go on their first rehearsal for Eurovision Song Contest 2022 is Ireland and Brooke with the song “That’s Rich”!

Who is Brooke Scullion?

Irish Alt Pop artist, Brooke has been making waves for her ferocious vocal delivery and dance worthy anthems. Rising to fame as a finalist of The Voice UK 2020, she wowed the judges and viewers with her show-stopping performances. Having duetted with Ella Eyre and been mentored by Grammy award-winning coach/singer Meghan Trainor, Brooke is closely following in the footsteps of these strong female artists.

Brooke won her spot to represent Ireland at Eurovision 2022 after a show stopping performance of “That’s Rich” on RTE’s Late Late Show Eurosong Special – she will represent Ireland at this year’s contest in Turin in May.

The rehearsal

Brooke had brought our first fabulous outfit of the day – an electric blue ensemble that includes hotpants with a chiffon overskirt. Chily for Ireland, but perfect for Italy.

It’s a confident performance that makes great use of the floor projections and overhead camera rig, with four backing dancers and a playful dance routine. It’s also a a strong vocal performance – Brooke has a really distinctive voice that sounds great in this big arena. A fun start to the day.

The second rehearsal of Ireland will take place on Friday 6th May and we will have a better idea of ​​what we will see from Brooke on the stage.

The results for the OGAE Poll 2022 continue today, with OGAE Finland,OGAE Ireland,OGAE Russia and OGAE Luxembourg being the next fan clubs to reveal the results of their members.

Eurovision 2022: The Preliminary Rehearsal Schedule has been released!

The Preliminary Rehearsal Schedule for the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest has been released. As we have mentioned in a previous article, rehearsals will commence on April 30 at the PalaOlimpico in Turin.

The first rehearsal of the Greek delegation will take place on Sunday, May 1 at 13.40 CET, with the press conference following at 15.40 CET of the same day. Amanda’s second rehearsal will take place on Wednesday 4 May at 16.50 CET, with the press conference taking place at 18.00 CET.

The first rehearsal of the Cypriot delegation will take place on Monday, May 2 at 16.40 CET, with the press conference taking place at 18.40 CET of the same day. The second rehearsal of Andromache is scheduled for Friday, May 6 at 10.25 CET, with the interview at 11.35 CET.

Last night the final Eurovision Party took place successfully at the La Riviera in Madrid. More than 32 eurostars attended the PrePartyES 2022!.

Eurovision 2022: At TikTok exclusively the snippets from the first rehearsals!

The EBU announced that TikTok has become an official entertainment partner, while at the same time revealing something very important for all the fans of the contest. The snippets of the first rehearsals will be shown exclusively from the official Eurovision account on TikTok!

For the first time this year, the press center will open for accredited journalists (both on site and online) on Wednesday, May 4th. The first rehearsals will not be available to journalists and the only excerpts that will be made public will be through TikTok.

In addition, through TikTok there will be a daily video with all the highlights of the day, while the semifinals and the finals will be broadcast live, but with a different version, than in the TV broadcast.
