Farida: “This time I want to show the artist that I really am!” | Interview

Farida was invited to the Eurovisionfun YouTube channel and spoke exclusively to Apostolis about her participation in the Norwegian national final with the song “Heartache“.

This is her second attempt to represent the country in the competition after 2022 and the song “Dangerous“. She said about the return of Melodi Grand Prix:

“It was not in my mind to return to Melodi Grand Prix at first. However, I wanted to come back with something more pop and not a ballad! Then I didn’t show my dancing skills and this time I wanted to show something different”

From her experience in 2022, she revealed to us that although the stress was very intense, it was a unique experience and a great lesson for her career. This year, “Heartache” was not her only choice and after the competition the other song will be released.

About her stage appearance, Farida revealed to us:

“I won’t be alone on stage! I will have 4 male dancers with me and although the red color will be there it will not be the dominant one! There will be “fire”!!!”

As Eurovision artists she would like to collaborate with, she mentioned Maneskin (Italy 2021) and Barbara Pravi (France 2021), while at the end, after giving her message to all fans of the competition, she gave us a piece of the acapella’s participation .

Sofia Coll: “It would be an honour to bring Catalan back to Eurovision!” | Interview

In an interview to Apostolis and Paschalis from Eurovisionfun, Sofia Coll, Spain’s candidate for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, spoke exclusively about Benidorm Fest 2024 and about her desire to be on the Malmö Arena stage this May!

How did you decide to take part in Benidorm Fest?

“Although this year it wasn’t on my mind, because I was in various shows on TV I always thought that with a good song I would like to go to Eurovision! So in the summer I got a call from the creators of the song that they have the song and want to we’re going to Eurovision and when we finished it in September I knew we had something good that could work on the competition stage.”

The message of the song:

“When we were writing the song I was thinking about myself on stage at Eurovision and Benidorm Fest and how I would like to feel when that moment comes. I wanted to convey my journey and the opportunities I wasn’t given that made me who I am and I have them with me in this song.

Sofia then revealed to us that she will not be alone  on stage at Benidorm Fest but accompanied with dancers and it will be quite artsy. As her favorite participation of Spain she called that of Chanel in 2022, while as her favorite participation from the competition in general she mentioned last year’s participation of Finland “Cha Cha Cha” but also “Snap” from Armenia in 2022!

The Netherlands: Εurovisionfun reaction to the Junior Eurovision 2023 entry!

Junior Songfestival 2023, the Dutch national final for Junior Eurovision, ended a while ago. The show was presented by Matheu Hinzen(Netherlands 2019) and Stefania(Netherlands 2016, Greece 2020-2021-Eurovision) and the duo Sep (13 years old) & Jasmijn (14 years old) won with the song “Holding On To You”!

Monika Linkytė: “My performance in Liverpool will be similar to the national final!”| Exclusive Interview

This year’s representative of Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, Monika Linkytė spoke exclusively to Eurovisionfun and Matamis Apostolis about her entry “Stay” and her plans for the Liverpool stage!

On her experience with the competition so far, she said that she didn’t expect there to be so many pre-parties but she’s having as much fun as she can but at the same time trying to stay professional.

Monika of course also participated in the competition in 2015 as a duo and of course she talked to us about this experience:

“My previous experience on the contest will definitely help! I keep the love I felt then in my heart! All these 8 years, I was gathering experiences, writing music and performing and that’s how I came back to the competition!”

For this year’s “Stay” entry, Monika said:

” Everyone asks me about the lyrics “Čiūto tūto” and how catchy they are! It’s the power of these lyrics and the overall message of the song which is about healing and how to discover your inner self!”

“The phrase “Čiūto tūto” comes from our traditional music! In the past, there were some traditional rituals in our culture where they repeated these words to get strength, connect with their soul and live a better life!”

About the performance on stage in Liverpool, she revealed to us:

“You’ll see something similar to the performance  of the national final and we’ll stick to the amber shades! Orange is gold for Lithuania and we want to stick to something that symbolizes a lot for the country!”

She then revealed to us that she has people from Greece in her close circle of friends and that she especially loves our country! She also named Spain, Norway and Portugal as her favorite entries from this year’s competition, as well as the bands from Ireland and Slovenia who have been linked all this time with their joint appearances at Eurovision parties.

La Zarra: “The staging will be simple but shocking” | Exclusive Interview |

This year’s representative of France in Eurovision 2023, La Zarra was a few days ago on the Eurovisionfun channel on Youtube, in an exclusive interview with Paschalis and Apostolis!

On her experience with the competition so far, she said that the hardest part was choosing the song, but now the good and fun things begin.

France this year is represented by La Zarra with the song “Évidemment”, which is entirely in French. She revealed to us about the message of the song:

“The meaning of the song is about finding yourself through difficulties and regaining control of your life! For me, when we created the song, I had to love myself and take risks! So love yourself, leave bad people behind and keep the promises you made to yourself!”

About the song selection, La Zarra stated the following:

“When I was offered the contest, I didn’t have a song. I had a lot but for my next album and I wanted something special that spoke to the difficulties I was facing at the time! So, with my partners we wrote “Évidemment”, for Eurovision!

She herself revealed to us that she has already started preparations for the stage performance in Liverpool:

“We have many ideas, but for me it is important that the look remains simple but at the same time shocks the audience!”

Also, La Zarra did not hesitate to reveal to us that she will be alone on stage as in the official video clip of the country! He then mentioned that he has listened to almost all the songs of this year’s Eurovision and the one he probably listens to the most is “Stay” by Lithuania, although all the songs of this year’s contest are amazing!

Eurovision 2023: Eurovisionfun Reacts to Second Semi-Final Running Order!

All the songs for the Eurovision Song Contest have been officially released and the EBU has revealed the running order for the two semi-finals of Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool!

The Eurovisionfun team watched and reacted to the official recap with the order of appearance of the two semi-finals! Enjoy Giorgos, Apostolis and Filippos in the reaction video for the 2nd Semi-Final with detailed comments and analyzes for the running order of the 16 songs!

Each country competing in the semi-finals took part in an allocation draw which determined which semi-final they would participate in and whether they would perform in the first or second half of the show. From there, the show producers decided the order in which they will perform. This system has been in place since 2013.
