American Song Contest: Second Semi-Final’s Results!
A few minutes ago, the second semi-final of the American Song Contest ended, eleven states competed for the last five spots in the final. The outcome is decided by the votes of the judges and the public vote. AleXa (Oklahoma), Riker Lynch (Colorado), Jordan Smith (Kentucky), Ni/Co (Alabama) and Allen Stone (Washington) were named as the first finalists with Τyler Braden from Tennessee following them after winning the support of the judges in the second semifinal!
The following artists participated in tonight’s semi-final:
- Puerto Rico: Christian Pagán – “Loko“
- North Carolina: John Morgan – “Right in the Middle“
- Kansas: Broderick Jones – “Tell Me“
- New York: Enisa – “Green Light“
- North Dakota: Chloe Fredericks – “Can’t Make You Love Me“
- Connecticut: Michael Bolton – “Beautiful World“
- Texas: Grant Knoche – “Mr. Independent“
- California: Sweet Taboo – “Keys to the Kingdom“
- Tennessee: Tyler Braden – “Seventeen“
- Georgia: Stela Cole – “DIY“
- American Samoa: Tenelle – “Full Circle“
At the beginning of the night, Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson announced that AleXa (Oklahoma), Riker Lynch (Colorado), Jordan Smith (Kentucky) and Ni/Co (Alabama) won the public’s support in the first semi-final and would be in the final. At the end of the night, the jury winner of the second semi-final was announced and therefore Tyler Braden of Tennesse managed to beat Kansas’ Broderick Jones and will qualify as the sixth finalist.

Voting for those not selected by the jury will continue until Tuesday. The public vote will determine the four artists who will make it to the finals. The finalists will be announced during the week.
