EXCLUSIVE: The composer and producer of “Tattoo” is making a song for Marina Satti!

Peter Boström the composer and producer of “Tattoo”, the song that won this year’s Eurovision, is currently in the studio alongside the Greek composer Dimitri Stassos and they are making a song for Marina Satti for Eurovision 2024, which will be submitted to ERT in the following days, as we can now exclusively reveal to you!

A strong team is making a song for Marina Satti

As Dimitri Stassos informed us exclusively, the last few weeks, he has been working feverishly on a song for Marina Satti, alongside Peter Boström, two-times winner of Eurovision Song Contest with “Tattoo” and Loreen’s first winning song, “Euphoria”. These are not the only successes of Peter Boström, as he has won Melodifestivalen with a third place in Eurovision 2011, having composed Eric Saade’s “Popular”.

Along Peter Boström and Dimitri Stassos, the song for Marina Satti, is also composed by Freja Blomberg, well-known Scandinavian composer. Dimitri Stassos has taken part in many national finals in different countries, while his songs have also taken part in the contest on behalf of Greece (2012) and Spain (2009).

In the photo below, presented exclusively by Eurovisionfun, we can see the three composers in the studio, working on the song, which will shortly be ready to be submitted to ERT. In the background we can see Peter Boström’s Platinum Record for “Euphoria” by Loreen!

First Information about the song

Dimitri Stassos also gave us the first information on the song they’re preparing.

“The song is catchy and is written on Marina! It’s urbanm ethno pop. It’s modern and it stands out because it’s a little different.”

Going on, Dimitri Stassos said that the demo of the song is in English, but because it reminds of Greece, the team wants to add Greek lyrics, if of course, it’s the song that will be chosen.

Ending our conversation abd after we wished him good luck, Dimitri Stassos said the following:

“We want to do something good for Greece.  Besides, I’m Greek myself!”

The submission of songs by those interested, continues until December 1st. Until then, composers can send their song proposals to the email address: eurovision2024@ert.gr.

Although so far there is no official announcement from ERT, about how the final selection of the song with which Marina Satti will represent Greece in Malmö has been made, the rumours state that there will not be a televised competition for this, but Marina herself alongside her team and in consultation with the Greek public television, will end up with that song that they believe will bring the best result in Eurovision 2024.

With the interest in the Greek participation and Marina Satti constantly increasing, more and more important songwriters are expected to submit their proposals to ERT, in the near future!

Do you think the above composer’s team will have a good song for Marina?

Stay tuned on Eurovisionfun for all the news regarding the Greek participation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, in Malmö!
